The office of the Kansai Chapter will move to Kyoto Sangyo University (Professor Kyoko Kishida on June 1, 2004.

Professor Emeritus of Princeton University, Earl Miner passed away on Apr 17. He was very close to many members of JCLA and was one of the leading authorities of Japanese classical literature.
