It was the book of legend about a magic user. There were the pictures of a sorceress killing a dragon and getting the treasures to herself. Light said, "This is the picture of a legendary magic user... just like you, Lina." In another page, Lina found the picture of a map which she was familiar with. The legendary world was Lina's world. She realized that she was far away from her own world and she asked Light to explain about his world.

 | In somewhere in Light's world, one Mazoku reported about the attack on "the Ark" to a man. It reported the powerful Mazoku, Arucibra, was destroyed because there was magic user. The man was surprised that there was a magic user. The Mazoku, Necromancer, said, it would kill the magic users, and the man smiled, saying, "I'm waiting for a good news."
Meanwhile, Light showed Lina and Gourry round the city in "the Ark". Lina realized that there were only young or little boys and girls and there weren't no adults. Light told Lina "Almost all of the adults were killed in the battle against Mazoku, and we, the kids had nothing to do but ride on this Ark and run away." Lina found that there were several flying vehicles in "the Ark" and asked "can you destroy the Mazoku with those weapons?" Light denied. "Only Magic can destory the Mazoku. Therefore, I want to master magic! Please teach me magic!" Lina refused his request, and Gourry said, "I like this world, Lina. Because there are machines which gives me a cup of hot tea by pushing a button." But the machine had a trouble and when Gourry pushed the button, the machine poured the tea over Lina. She cast a Fireball at Gourry and Light.
Lina took bath to wash away the tea, but she was surprised by Light who came to wash her back, hoping to be her pupil of magic. Lina knocked down him, and then she found Gourry was there, too. She blew him away by a Fireball, and through the hole on the roof, she saw several Mazoku watching at her.

Light was surprised because he and his friends didn't notice that Mazoku were coming before they appeared in "the Ark". Lina cast an arranged Fireball which broke a part in the air and the bullets of fire destroyed each Mazoku. Then another Mazoku appeared and it introduced itself as "Necromancer". It attraced the bodies of destroyed Mazoku, and became a giant Mazoku.
Light got on his "gunpod" and Gourry sat on the left wing of it. He didn't put on his pants but covered his waist with a towel. His couldn't find his pants which had been blown away by Lina's spell. When they arrived the scene of battle between the giant Mazoku and Lina, the Mazoku was going to shot a beam at her. Light's gunpod was just in time, and Gourry caught her up to the wing of the gunpod.
Light asked Lina what was the monster, and Lina told him that one Mazoku resurrected the bodies of dead Mazoku and unite them into a big body. "We have to destroy the controling Mazoku on the head of it." Light asked Lina to destroy the Mazoku with her Dragon Slave but Lina said, "you don't no how to battle, Light. We don't need to destroy the Mazoku with only one powerful spell. Use your head, if you want to be my pupil."

 | Then Light shot machine gun at Mazoku's body. Hiding behind the rain of bullets, Lina flew closer to the Mazoku and cast an Elmekia Lance, but the Necromancer expected it. The Mazoku shot a beam of power and the spell and the beam hit each other. At the same time, Light shot two missiles at the head of the giant Mazoku, where the controling Mazoku, Necromancer, existed. The missiles hit the target, but the Mazoku covered itself with with the body of another Mazoku. It said to Lina "check mate." Lina said "no, it's me who check and mate!" And Gourry jumped at the Mazoku, holding the Sword of Light in his hands. Seeing the critical weapon, Necromancer gave a cry, and Gourry biseced it with only one blow.
When they come closer to the ground, Light heard the cry of joy. It was the little kids in the city, and suddenly, he understood why Lina didn't use a powerful magic in the battle. If she had used the spell there, she had to cast it downwards, and the spell would have harmed many kids on the ground. Light was moved and excited and asked Lina to make him her pupil again. Finally, Lina replied, "you can be my pupil until I'll go home."
When she replied, something came flying and covered her face. It was the towel with which Gourry covered his waiste. Lina saw his revealed thing and cast a Fireball at him again.

Somewhere in the world of Light, there stood a man who had talked with the Mazoku, Necromancer, before. He watched the images of the battle between Necromancer and the humans in "the Ark". The images showed Gourry's Sword of Light, Lina's angry face, and laughing face of Light. The man muttered joyfully. "I think the time has come. I'll show myself to them this time." He was a young man in the cloak and clothes of the priest and had a staff in his hand.
(QP's note : Kero Kero Ace is the comic magazine for the boys in their low-teens. Therefore, the story of "Slayers Light Magic" seems to be on the concept that the readers don't know the story of previous TV anime series and the canon novels.) |  |
