| Sep. 18th, 2008 |  The twelveth episode of "Slayers REVOLUTION" - LEGACYt Kessen Seiruun - was aired.(Spoiler!)In this episode, Sylphiel and Prince Philionel appeared. The voice actress for Sylphiel was Yumi Touma, same as in Slayers and Slayers NEXT. The voice actor for Prince Philionel was Minoru Inaba who played the same character in Slayers TRY. In Slayers and Slayers NEXT, Masahiro Anzai played Prince Philionel but in 1997 he had serious health problem and he couldn't do the job as the voice actor. There was the announcement that they decided to make the second cour with 13 episodes. There was no introduction of the title and the release date.

| Sep. 11th, 2008 | The eleventh episode of "Slayers REVOLUTION" - Keep Out Yomigaeru Majuu - was aired. (Spoiler!)In the TV anime, Zenaffa armor turns into a Zanaffer when it is damaged. But ordinary sword can't damage a Zenaffa armor. Ducris' sword is made of the beam of energy which is created by his Zenaffa armor. One Zanaffer shoots beams from its tentecles and when it is controled by the user, it obey the will of the user and let the beam be in the form of a sword, I guess. There was a notice that "we'll start the next episode at 1:50a.m." The twelveth episode, "LEGACY Kessen Seiruun" will be aired 30 minute later than usual. | ||||||
| Sep. 10th, 2008 | The official site of Animate opened the special section for Slayers TV anime. They introduce the Super Slayers Festival at AT-X channel and the TV anime Slayers REVOLUTION with the interviews with two producers from AT-X and Starchild. In the introduction of the Super Slayers Festival, there was the sentence, "Slayers REVOLUTION + Slayers GLORY (temporary titled) (26 episodes)". So, the second cour of new Slayers TV anime will be expected to be titled as "Slayers GLORY". In addition, there was the sentence that "let's enjoy all over Slayers in the second half of the financial year 2008!". In Japan, one financial year starts at April and ends at March. The sentence meant that Super Slayers Festival would be held from October to March, and they announced that they would air the second arc of Slayers new TV anime during the Festival. So, we expect that we will be able to see "Slayers GLORY (temporary titled)" from January to March 2009. But, both the sentences are removed.The October issues of three major anime magazines were released. The October issue of monthly comic magazine "Dragon Age" was released and the fifth episode of the manga "Slayers REVOLUTION" came out. It is based on the scenario of the tenth and eleventh episodes of TV anime "Slayers REVOLUTION" and is continued to the next issue. By the way, here I write my thought about the character design for Ducris as a human. You may wonder why the character design for Ducris as human form in manga is different from that in TV anime. When the manga started, I read a comment of the manga author in his blog. He wrote, "I wish that they could pass me the original designs sooner." Probably, the original design for Ducris' human form wasn't completed before the dedline for the fouth episode of the manga. I think that the manga artist had to create Ducris' human form without any suggestions and information. There is the special article about Slayers in this issue.

| Sep. 8th, 2008 | According to the blog "Slayers NEWS", Broccolli will release the new merchandise for Slayers REVOLUTION. The image is here. It's the fifth series of "Character Sleeve Collections". This isn't especially for Slayers REVOLUTION, and also is the merchandise of other games and visual novels. They print the full colored image of the characters from the series and put 60 peices of sleeves in one box. One box has the sleeves of characters from four series at random. This fifth series of "Character Sleeve Collection" will have the characters from "Slayers REVOLUTION", Al Azif from "Demonbane", Tomoyo Sakagami from "Clannad" and Kudryavka from "Little Busters!". The site manager of "Moon Phase" bought October issue of monthly comic magazine "Dragon Age" three days earlier than the official release date and posted information in the blog "Moon Phase Diary". It included the information on the second arc of the new Slayers TV anime. It is already announced that this new Slayers TV anime is created in the style of "separated-two-cours", but this announcement in Dragon Age is the first official one that there will be another 13 episodes of TV anime of Slayers.

| Sep. 4th, 2008 | The tenth episode of "Slayers REVOLUTION" - Judgement, Yomigaeru Shirogane - was aired. (Spoiler!)I have expected that Ozer was the "post of Rezo's soul" because its name can be the anagram of "Rezo" and her clothes are red. But in this episode it was destroyed by Lina's Ragna Blade. Does this mean that Ozer isn't the "pot of Rezo's soul" or the pot is hidden in another undamaged part of the doll. By the way, Zuuma finally withdrew losing both of his arms just like in "Battle of Saillune" episode (the 4th book of Slayers novels). He also acted as Zain in "Trick in Solaria" episode (the 10th book). I imagine that the latter cour will have Zuuma again. He would unite with a Mazoku in order to avenge on Lina and Gourry just like Zain. However, there would be another model for his character - King Bergis. And the storyline will let Lina and Gourry get the Blast Sword. | ||||||
