Mar. 9, 2008 To those who aren't English speaking visitors. Here is simpler text.	Megumi Hayashibara's radio program "Tokyo Boggie Night" was aired on TBS radio. Below is the digest of the program based on my memory.       (Megumi-san was so suprised by plenty of post cards from Slayers fans) "Please calm down, people!"     (One listner wrote "I'm waiting for the new Slayers TV anime to come back!" in her post card) "To tell, the truth, I didn't think it happens." "(I thought that there would be no more job of Slayers TV anime, and therefore,) I poured all of my power to 'Meet Again'." "It was me who was most surprised by the news of new Slayers TV anime!"     (One listner wrote "I like Lina cosplaying as Alice in TRY") "Lina-chan did cosplay several times." "Do you know Noonsa? It is a Fishman which is like a big fish with arms and legs. There was a scene in which Noonsa kissed Lina and I ad-libbed 'it's fishy'. As far as I can recall, Lina cosplayed as a fishgirl like Noonsa once. (*)"     "I did jobs of Slayers and Evangelion at the same period, and I and Ishida-san did a parody of Evangelion in one of episodes of Slayers. There were many parodies in Slayers."     "According to the post cards, there seem to be some rumors that the voice actors/actresses would be changed. When they talks about the new voice actors or actresses, who would be recommended? Are they giving us some rest? I'm sorry, but we'll go as we are. We'll go and knock all over such rumors."     (Replying to the question about the opening song) "As you say that you are looking forward to my new song, I'll do my best. I have heard that they are gathering the demo-tapes for the new singer. Anyway, there are many demo-tapes coming to the staff."     "To tell the truth, I was told 'there maybe new Slayers anime' again and again for many years. Every time I was told so, I was asked about the schedule of my jobs. And each times, the situations didin't turn good, and the plans for new Slayers anime didn't come true."     "This year, my daughter will go to the kindergarted from Spring, and I was thinking that I have more time to do a new job, and the job of Slayers is coming to me. However, it's impossible for them to make my hope for the schedule to record come true, and I have new schedule for the job."     "(I think it's okay to reveal this information) They are now working hard to make the five voice actors and actresses to do the voice of the same main five characters, namely, I as Lina Inverse, Yasunori Matsumoto as Gourry, Masami Suzuki as Amelia, Hikaru Midorikawa as Zelgadiss, and Akira Ishida as Xelloss."     "(Talking about the schedule to record the voices) Mr. Matsumoto did the job of another anime 'Sazae-san' when I wanted to do the joby of Slayers, and in the time when he was free, I'm messing around with Pikachu. Now, we are trying to be helped by the white kitten... (**)"     "I have no information on the day when they'll start to air the new Slayers TV anime. I doubt that they don't tell me about it because I'll reveal it soon. Anyway, when I get the new information, I'll tell you about them in this program."     When I came to the studio today, I was surprised by the piles of post cards. There are many listeners who don't know about Slayers, because they haven't aired Slayers TV anime on TV Tokyo. I want all of you will wait for it to come!"         QP's Note :         (*) As far as I can recall, Lina didn't cosplay as a fishgirl. There was a fishgirl in the 17th episode of Slayers TRY, and Megumi Hayashibara did the voice for her, but, she was another character from Lina Inverse.         (**) I guess that she was doing the job of Pokemon at the time when Mr. Matsumoto is free, and she and the staff are going to shift the time for the job of Kitty White (Sanrio's Hello Kitty) to make the time to do the job of new Slayers TV anime.     Megumi Hayashibara's radio program "Heartful Station" was aired on FM Fuji. There she told about Slayers. Below is the digest of the program based on my memory.       "Today, when I came to this studio, the director gave me a pile of post cards. It is more plenty of post cards than usual because many slayers fans wrote those post cards. Someone wept for joy and someone was so excited by the news of new Slayers TV anime. I myself told me 'keep calm, myself'."     "The listeners gave me their idea about the title of new Slayers TV anime. 'Slayers Remember' 'Slayers Reload' 'Slayers Reach', 'Next to Try', and 'Slayers new TV anime : preface'... "     "In my soul, Lina Invers is related with Rei Ayanami. At that time, I worked for Slayers and Evangelion at the same term. One day, I walked down on the street near a railway station, and I found a big advertisement of Evangelion and Princess Mononoke on a wall of a building. The ad of Eva told us 'I wish all of them would be dead' and the ad for 'Princess Mononoke' told us 'survive'. And between the two ads there was a drop curtain with the logo of 'Slayers'. I wondered 'is this situation good? Which direction does my nation go?'"     "At that time, one day I went to the studio to work for Evangelion, and on another day, I did a job for Slayers. The job for Slayers made me happy and optimistic, besides the job for Evangelion made me blue. Eva pulled a half of my body, and Slayers pulled another half of my body, too. And I myself stood in the middle but tottered from right or left. I remembered my feelings at that time."     "I haven't heard about when they'll start to air new Slayers TV anime, but I heard about the schedule of recording the voice."     "The staff are working very hard to gather five voice actors and actresses who are busy with their current jobs."
March 6, 2008 To those who aren't English speaking visitors. Here is simpler text.	Spring issue of the monthly magazine "Da Vinci" came out. This magazine has articles about the novels and comics in Japan. In the Spring issue there is an exclusive article 'Is the End Coming to the Light-Novels?' and in that Slayers canon novels is introduced as the most recommended series in Fujimi Fnatasia Bunko. In the recommendation, it is written 'this year they will air the new animation of Slayers after 7 years of interval.'
Mar. 4, 2008 To those who aren't English speaking visitors. Here is simpler text.	I found that the information on new Slayers TV anime was posted in the official site of Fujimishobo. They also announce that there will be the additional information about the new Slayers TV anime in the next issue of Dragon Magazine.
Mar. 3, 2008 To those who aren't English speaking visitors. Here is simpler text.	They announced the new Slayers TV anime in the news page of Megumi Hayashibara's radio program, "Heartful Station". It's in "Megumi House" in the site of Starchild.     Megumi Hayashibara talked about new Slayers TV anime in another radio program, "Tokyo Boggie Night". She said :     "It is decided that there will be new Slayers TV anime as they announced in April issue of monthly Dragon Magazine that came out on February 29th."     "Lina Inverse is waking up. This is actually our 'meeting again', isn't it?"     "Recently, I felt that the root of my hair became reddish and I felt like putting on a black cloack on my back..."     "I'll do and go beyond our imagination together with Lina Inverse!"     "I took out the DVD-Box of Slayers TRY and watched it again. It's interesting, isn't it? I think that the direction of the scenes made Slayers funny and interesting. What I felt impressive was... do you remember the scene in which Lina received a letter from her elder sister? At that time, she only said 'no!', and in the scene she ran away from Filia, destroyed a building, created a pyramid, made a coffin, hid herself in the coffin and went deep down under ground. All those scenes described how extremely Lina was afraid of the order from her sister. Besides, the message from her sister was very simple, 'just do it, don't say "no"'. I wonder how they direct the story or the scene in the new TV anime to make Lina running mad as they did in Slayers TRY."     "For the present, I don't know when the new TV anime begins, and when I know the information, I'll tell you in this radio program."     "Who will be the guest voice actors? I expect that Natsuki Kato and Chiaki Kuriyama will join the Slayers anime (lol)."

On March 2nd, someone posted her comments in the thread about Slayers new TV anime. She said:     "It was announced in the April issue of monthly Dragon Magazine that there would be new Slayers TV anime!"     "I'll do my best to play the voice of Lina."     "To tell the truth, we talked about new Slayers TV anime again and again. But each time the plan couldn't come true because of the time-zone to broadcast, whether it would be OVA or the movie, etc."     "Last year, we did a new drama CD and I sang the song 'Meed again' for the promotional project for the new DVD-Boxes of Slayers. I devoted all my energies to them hoping to make Lina powerful and alive. I had no regrets if those projects were the end of my Slayers works, but now, I'm ready to act as Lina again. Yes, Slayers doesn't allow me to take a rest lol"     "My daughter will start to go to the kindergarten and I'll be able to have time to do a job of a main character in the new TV anime... I don't mean that my privare life make you wait so long for the new Slayser TV anime."     "For the present, we don't have the information on the TV station and the time-zone of the broadcasting. When it will be decided, I'll tell you in my radio programs. Please wait for it."     "I wonder what the title will be. Slayers something? What do you imagine? Please let me know your ideas!"     "I watched Slayers TRY again some days earlier. I realized that Lina ate food again and again (lol), and there are many scenes that are seemed to be needless for me. But all those needless scenes are joyful and funny, and I recognized again that those funny scenes made Slayers fun."
