March 30th is Megumi-san's birthday and when she read a birthday card from the listener, the staff of the radio gave her a bunch of white roses.
"Someone says that she doesn't reveal her actual age because she sells dreams to the children. But I don't mind to reveal my actual age. (she is 41 years old.)"
"I think that when you always try your best to be what you want to be, you can be good mature persons."
"One day I read an article in a magazine. The article tells about the reason why the fitness clubs have glass walls and big mirrors. They say that when people do exercise there, they realize that others are watching at themselves. Then people tend to try their best, and in the result, when they get old, they don't stop exercise but change what to do."
"When I'll play Lina Inverse for 'Slayers REVOLUTION', I'll fell again that playing some character is an aerobics." (So, we can see that they doesn't start recording voices for Slayers REVOLUTION yet.)
"I led Lina in the first season. I walked together with Lina in NEXT. And I followed Lina in TRY. What will it be in REVOLUTION?"
"Thinking about 'Slayers REVOLUTION', I got an idea. I told the idea to the staff of Starchild. I think that there may be many Slayers fans who don't have albums of Slayers because they were too young to buy CDs 11 years ealier. Therefore, we will make a compilation album of 'Slayers'. I want to add something else to it and make it joyful."
"I want to know what songs you want and what you want for the something else. Please tell us what is your favorite songs and lyrics. I want to make a booklet of your favorite scnese from old three seasons... These are what I'm plannning now, and as I tell those ideas in this radio show, the staff of Starchild have to work to make it true. March 30th is Megumi Hayashibara's birthday, and the staff of the radio show gave her a birthday cake. It was "Saya" of the shot "patisserie Sadaharu AOKI paris", and they took a photo of the cake and they'll upload it to the webpage of the radio show. Megumi-san received many celebrating post cards from the listeners as well.
(One listener asked Megumi-san about her plan for her 40s) "I used to think that I'll spend the days of my 40s slowly and I hope to find something new to do in such days. But Lina Inverse doesn't allow me to live my life slowly. Now I'm planning to make a new album of 'Slayers'. This album will be a compilation of the songs I sang. I don't mean to select an easy job. To make a compilation album is a hard work for me. I have to select the songs which I sang before. There are many songs that I sang and that aren't in any of my albums. I want to select such songs, but I also hope to realize the wishes of the fans. I want this new album to be for Slayers fans, for Slayers only, and I'll keep thinking about Slayers only while I make the album. I want to add a book or booklet which will have my favorite lyrics or the list of favorite scenes from Slayers, Slayers NEXT, and Slayers TRY. It means that the album has re-mastered songs and a special present for you. In order to make it real, I have to do many things. Now I'm listening to the cds of Slayers again. We have a plan to gather your request and your favorite lyrics and your favorite scenes through the webpage of this show. We'll announce about it in the near future."
Megumi-san talked about Japanesed dubbed motion picture "Highlander". She played together with Shun Oguri, Ko-ichi Yamadera, Paku Romi, and Minami Takayama.

Do you know about this? There is a shoujo-manga entitled "Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou". I came to know that the subtitle of the 65the episode was "Jo", that of the 66th episode was "Ha" and that of the 67th episode was "Kyuu". In Japan, they are creating four parts of motion pictures of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" from 2007. The subtitle for the first part is "Jo", that of the second part will be "Ha", and that for the thirt part will be "Kyuu", and Megumi-san and Hoshi-san talk about the relationship between the shoujo-manga and the motion picture.
One listener witnessed the humorous conversation between a mother and her about three year old son.

The website of Mr. Hajime Kanazaka's Official Fan-club, "Mega Brand Kikaku" is updated. In the image of Lina on the top of the web page, there is some messages. On the top in black letters "the comment from Mr. Kanzaka and the person in concern who are surprised y the sensational response". In red letters "we didn't think that the newsb of new Slayers TV anime is so sensationl..."
There is a hidden message from the representative of Mega Brand Kikaku in the image as well. "Both the author and I underestimated how strong influence 'Slayers' has had on people."
BTW, there is the information about the canon novels in the page about the latest information. Here is the translation.
*During the last ten days of May = Fujimi Fantasia Bunko's "Slayers" vol.1, 2 and 3 with new cover art will be released. Mr. Araizumi is drawing the new illustration for the panoramic covers.
Mr. Kanzaka "The text in each books are the same, but there is only one part which I revised. It's in the first book. There was a scene in which Lina cast a Fireball spell at a pure Mazoku, and this was a contradiction. I revise the scene. And I wrote new afterwords. (*)"
Tamiki : New afterwords! This is a strong motivation for the fans to buy those Slayers books!
(*) QP's Note : It's not clear if all of the three books will have new afterwords or not. But from the words of Tamiki, I think that each three books of Slayers canon novels will have new afterwords.
