New Type has two pages of article about Slayers REVOLUTION and a newly drawn illustration of Lina and Gourry. There Mr. Takashi Watanabe, the director gave his comments about Slayers REVOLUTION. Moreover, New Type has three essays of Megumi Hayashibara. In one of them, she talks about Slayers. Here is a rough translation and the images.

To those who aren't English speaking visitors. Here is simpler text. | Someone bought the anime magazines which included the article about "Slayers Revolution" three days earlier than usual release date, and forwarded the article in one thread in the bbs in "2 Channel". Soon after that someone forwarded the message to the thread about "animation of Slayers". The article confirmed the staff and the cast of "Slayers REVOLUTION".

Then the message about the interview of the director, Mr. Watanabe, followed it.
According to it, the storyline of Slayers Revolution will be anime-exclusive but based on the story of canon novels which we haven't used in the first season and in NEXT.

| | How Megumi Hayashibara Spent Her Birthday = She stayed at a hotel in Ginza with her daughter. They went to Tsukiji next morning, but it was pouring.
How You Decide Your Radio Name? = The reason why three listeners decide their nick-names for the radio shows. One listener answered, "I took my radio name from the name of a liquor I found in one of the illustrations for Slayers novels."
Episode about Inuko Inuyama'a Appearing as a Guest in a TV Talk Show = In the TV talk show, "Waratte Iitomo", the guests always received many flowers from their friends. When Inuko Inuyama, who plays voice of Meowth in Japanese Pokemon anime, appeared as a guest, Megumi Hayashibara and Shin-ichiro Miki sent a bunch of flower with a card "To Lord Meowth, from Musashi and Kojiro".

Megumi's Cherry Blossoms Viewing = Megumi Hayashibara and her daughter enjoyed cherry blossoms viewing with two families of Megumi-san's friends. One family is Mitsuo Iwata, Rikako Aikawa and their child. Another family was Miina Tominaga and her children.
About New Slayers Best Album = They are inviting submitions for the project of new Slayers best album. There are three things they want to ask for your submissions.

| | (About the new best album of Slayers songs)
There is a plan to compile the Slayers songs which Megumi Hayashibara had sung. But those songs are too few for three discs. They will gather the requests from the listeners of Heartful Station.
It is decided that the new best album will have the most popular song "Give a Reason". Maybe many Slayers fans have a lot of their own favorite Slayers songs, and they hope that the listeners will tell what they want to have in the new best ablum.
Megumi-san's idea about the exclusive booklet is a "Read and Get Encouraged Book of Slayers". It will have Megumi-san's new portratits and the lyrics which she wrote for some Slayers songs. For about the lyrics, they will gather requests from fans which lyrics they want to be included in the booklet.
They will gather the requests for those three things below.
1. The Slayers songs you want to be compiled in the best album.
2. The phrases (in the lyrics) of the Slayers songs which you want to be included in the booklet.
3. Your favorite scenes in all of Slayers anime.
In order to submit your request, you'll be able to send post cards to this radio show. From 0:00AM in April 7th in Japan, you'll be able to submit your request through the webpage "Megumihouse".

One listener wrote in her post card, "how about having some Slayers songs covered by other singers in the new best album?" Megumi-san said, "it's a good idea. I'll add this as another plan for the best album, although I don't know if they'll accept it."
They are gathering the title of new Slayers TV anime, because they want to find a title for the new best album among those ideas.

The April theme for this section is "Dragon Slave". Listeners wrote their own episode about what they got angry of, and in the end, they wrote "Dragon Slave!". The BGMs for this section was several Slayers songs, namely "Get Along", "Going History", etc.

| Apr. 4, 2008 | In the site of "Web Kadokawa", they announce that Slayers book 1, 2, and 3 will be re-published on May 20th. Each books will be 588yen including tax. These three books will come with new cover arts by Mr. Rui Araizumi.
QP's opinion) They said that they would re-publish continuously all fifteen books of Slayers canon novel. Probably, they will re-publish three books in each month. Then they need five months (from May to September) to finish re-publishing Slayers novels. We can speculate that we will see the first epospde Slater Revolution by or soon after the end of re-publishing canon novels, can't we? |

To those who aren't English speaking visitors. Here is simpler text. | Starchild Co., Ltd. added the information on the new Slayers best album to their webpage. According to it, the release date will be 25th June, and the item code is KICA-916>8. The album will contain three discs and the price will be 3000yen including tax. It contains the songs by Megumi Hayashibara. The first production will have special items.
There is a rumor that the TV anime Slayers Revolution will be released in July, because the best album, which is one of the promotional project of new TV anime, may be released a few weeks earlier. |
