Simpler text. | It is officially announced that Megumi Hayashibara sings the opening song and the ending song of Slayers REVOLUTION. This official information is found in the news page of Megumi House, which is in the web site of Starchild. Megumi Hayashibara indicated in her radio shows that she would record the opening song and the ending song, but no magazines nor web sites confirmed the information. This is the first confirmed information from Starchild about the OP and EP of Slayers REVOLUTION. |

The first three books of "Slayers" main series with new cover art will be published on May 20th. Those three books will come out with new afterwords as well.

Simpler text. | June issue of monthly comic magazine "Dengeki Maoh" was released. In the issue there is a page in which they introduce the books of novels, and in the June issue, they are writing about the Slayers books with new cover art. In the article, they introduced the storyline of "Slayers Revolution". According to the article, the storyline will be both anime-exclusive and based on the second arc of the main series of Slayers novels. They also introduced the illustration of new cover arts. Someone posted the information in the thread about "Slayers Revolution" in 2channel, and Hamariya posted the image and the article in the blog "Slayers NEWS". I also bought the magazine, and here is the images. Images and articles updated : April 28th. |

She recorded the ending song the day before she recorded "Tokyo Boogie Night".
She read the post card with the request for the "best scenes of Slayers" which would be included in the booklet of "Megumix". |

Megumi Hayashibara recorded the song for Slayers REVOLUTION.
They hadn't decided the release date of Slayers REVOLUTION yet. However, the anime producing company is working fast, and the voice actors will see the graphics when they'll record the voices.
The opening song was written by Hidetoshi Sato (author of "Give a Reason") and the ending song was written by Go Takahashi (the author of "Meet Again").
Megumi-san listened the demos not knowing who wrote which songs as usual, and she chose those two songs. The first song she listened was the song by Mr. Sato, and Megumi-san could see Lina when she heard the song. She felt that she didn't need to listen any other songs. And she wrote the lyric for it.
She recorded the ending song first. They'll record the opening song later.
Soichiro Hosh had listened the ending song, and Megumi-san asked him his impression. He said, "it's gorgeous. It is like an opening song even though it's an ending song..."
Megumi-san said "I'll do my best more and more. I wrote such spirit in the lyric." And they'll introduce the songs when they will be allowed to do.
Meugmi-san read a post card with the message about Lina's words. The listener liked Lina's words when she made up her mind to fight against Ruby Eye in the first season. Lina said "If you've only got a one percent chance of winning, but convince yourself you're going to lose, that one percent becomes zero percent!" Megumi-san said that she was affected by those words, and she tried not to think "it's impossible".
In "Megumix" album, "Nemurenai Yoru wa" will be included. And Megumi-san will cover the Japanese version of "Somewhere". |

The photo of Megumi Hayashibara was took when she had her lunch (curry and naan). She shows how big her naan is. Another photo shows the frame and the mirror which they used. The staff of Sekaido, the paiting materials company, let them use those frames and mirrors for free. |

They took the photos of Megumi Hayashibara for the cover art of Megumix's package. When they took the photos, they needed many frames and they asked Sekaido, the company of paiting materials, for the frames. To their surprise, the staff of Sekaido let them use many frames for free, because the staff was a big fan of Slayers. They will post the making scenes in Megumi House.
The main color of the package will be gold. When you'll go to the cd stores, please look for the color of GOLD.
Megumi-san introduced the message from Italy, which was written in Japanese. She said that they received many messages and requests from all over the world. Some of them were written in Japanese, and some others were written in foreign languages. Those messages in foreign languages have to be translated before the staff read them. |
Added : The message from Italy was written on a post card with the design of the dish of spaghetti al pomodoro. The sender was the Italian girl, Maru-chan. She wrote her message in Japanese using kanji and kana.
Megumi-san was surprised that there came many messages for Slayers from the foreign fans. She can't read messages written in foreign languages and it is necessary for those messages to be translated in Japanese. Anyway, she was pleased that there are so many Slayers fans in all over the world. She admires that those anime fans study writing their messages in Japanese.
More Added : The sender of the post card gave me an e-mail. I found that the site owner of "Ashita Smile", the enthusiastic fan site of Megumi Hayashira, is Maru-chan who sent the round post card to "Heartful Station". To those who aren't English speaking visitors. Here is simpler text. | The manager of the blog "Slayers NEWS", Hamariya bought one book of the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko, which came out on that day. The book contained a flyer with informations on the upcoming books, and the advertising paper which covered the one third from the bottom of the book. There were informations on the newly released books of Slayers. Hamariya posted the informations in the blog. Here is the summary of the article.

1. July issue will be the last issue which come earlier than the first episode of TV anime Slayers REVOLUTION. There will be the exclusive article of Slayers.
2. July issue of Dragon Magazine will have one episode of Slayers Special. They announced that there would something in Slayers Special series, but the ad didn't tell us anything.

Here is simpler text. | On this day, there was a rumor "Megumi Hayashibara might record the opening theme of Slayers REVOLUTION on April 15th" among the bbs in "2 channel". The source was the web diary of the professional drumer, Shu Skai. He didn't tell the name of the seiyuu who sang the song, and he neither tell the title of the anime. However there were some clues. Here is the summary of the diary.

Shu Sakai isn't an anime addict. But he knows the name of the seiyuu who sang the song when he played drums.
According to him, the seiyuu sang the song when he played drums.(*) He described the voice of the seiyuu as "the voice of Ayanami... (he didn't tell the first name of the character)".
According to Shu Sakai, "the song rocks! The drums roar!" The seiyuu, the author, and the recording staff were excited with his play, and asked him to play harder and harder.
Shu Sakai said that the song would be the theme song for the very famous anime. Shu Sakai isn't an anime addict. But he knows the title of that famous anime.
(*) QP's Note : Shu Sakai is a studio musician and plays drum for many singers. It is familiar for him that the actual singer doesn't sing the song when Shu plays drums. In the case of seiyuu, she sang the song when he recorded, and Shu was excited. |

Among the request for the songs which the listener wish to have in the new best album, someoe listed "Nou Aru Raibal wa Tume wo Kakusu" that is the image song for Naga. Megumi-san said "it's impossilbe. Naga is Naga. Last week, I said that I would consider about the songs that are covered by someone else, but now I tell you, please make a list only with my songs. If I picked up Naga's song, something wrong would happen to me LOL. It would be critical. I couldn't stand when Naga stood in front of my house laughing aloud. LOL
In the end of the show, there was the information about new Slayers best album.
The release date is June 25th.
