The character in the center is an elfin sorcerer Melfinius Egatius. He has his magic shop "Tudrac Magic Emporium" in another dimention of Marrigan. There Zelgadiss knows that Melfinius has seven scrolls given by L-sama. They are blank and as Zelgadiss finds each piece of the puzzle, a part of the spell will appear on a scroll. Melfinius says Zelgadiss that he'll instruct him in their use when he come back with all seven pieces. Meanwhile, Gourry found another sword Icedrake which matches Firedrake and gets it without price from the owner. But he is witnessed by Lina when Naga is holding his arm.
