Gourry isn't part elf. Probably, you are confused by the story of the first Slayers movie. The scenario of that movie wasn't written by Mr. Kanzaka, and both Raudy and Melreen were the original characters in the movie. Later, Mr. Kanazaka mentioned that Gourry didn't have elf's blood.

Kanzaka : The story of the first Slayers movie might suggest that Gourry's ancestor would have married the elf girl, but, when we think about it more calmly, it couldn't happen. Human get old much faster than elf tribe, so, when Raudy in the movie became as old as Gourry is now, that elf girl was still a child. To merry a little girl is a crime, isn't it?

Kanzaka : So, I guess that Raudy merried a human girl after the story of the movie. Anyway, the drama in the movie actually happened, though.
