1. Magic Spells
2. Set Up of the Characters
3. Original Characters in TV anime
4. Mazoku

Hello everybody! Here I am, "Mr. Secret" Xelloss. Here, I will talk about "a little bit difference between Slayers novels and TV anime" together with our lovely heroin, Lina-san!
Hey! Why I shall talk about the difference between the novels and TV anime together with you?
I suppose that the owner of this site is tired of writing another serious report.
I don't mean that I don't want to talk here. But why with you?
Don't worry. The owner isn't the writer of the Xel+Lina fanfics.
I don't worry about anything. I just can't accept you as the partner of this report.
Let me explain the reason why you and I shall talk here. First of all, Lina-san, you are the main character in Slayers.
Yes, I am!
And the reason why I am here is that there is no one else who can be the talking partner here.
What do you mean?
Let's imagine. If Gourry-san were your partner here, what would happen? You would keep talking, talking, talking, and talking, leaving Gourry-san sleep in his seat.
... Yes, he would...
Think about Zelgadiss-san's case. I admit that he would do a good explanation, but still, he would be too curt to be a reporter.
... I agree with you.
What would happen in Ameria-san's case? She would say, "It's justice, that's all" and there would be no more explanation.
Oh... It would make no sense...
Can you give me the name of others who are suitable for your partner here?
How about the great sage Luo Graon? He knows many things.
I'm sorry, he doesn't appear in TV anime.
Mirgazia?
Don't you mind his dull, boring, and uninteresting jokes?
... Yes, I do...
So, now, let's begin our report.
Hey! The main character is ME! Don't do as you like!

1. Magic Spells
From now on, I'll lead this report. Alright? Let's begin with the difference of the magic spells between the novels and TV anime. Do you know that there are two types of difference?
Two types of difference? What are they?
I admit that TV anime shows the magic spells in the novels faithfully. But, there is still a little bit difference.
I think that you mean the visual difference and the essential difference, right?
No. I mean the difference of the power of each spell and the difference in the magic users --- that is "who can use which spell".
Oh, I see. In the novels, every magic user have their own status (Earth, Water, Fire, or Air), and they prefer to use the spells of the groups in which they have their status. Moreover, there are a few magic users who can use Raywing. In the novels, the author wrote that Ameria-san and Zelgadiss-san couldn't use the spell (7th book). But in the first season of TV anime, Zelgadiss used a Raywing with a striking pose (#5).
TV anime demands speedy actions. So, they needed to make all the important character be able to use a flying skill. But some fans of Slayers novels laughed to see Zel's posing for Raywing... For about the status of a magic user, Zel didn't use any black magic spells in the novels, since he was "a master of shamanistic magic". But, as you know, he used several black magic spells in TV anime.
Really?
Yes. Zel used Garv Flare at Halcifom, Dynast Breath at Seigram in the shrine in the desert, and Dynast Brass at Gourry who was controlled by Fibrizo. But, in the novels, Zel used no black magic spells.
Did you confirm those scenes one by one?
No. But there is someone who studied the magic spells and the magic users both in the novels and TV anime, and the person had made a book of it.
Oh, you have the book! Isn't it a sly deed for you?
Meanwhile, let's think about Ameria. She is a priestess and she must specialized in white magic. But as you know, she used many offensive spells. Don't you think it's weird?
Oh... You ignored me...
It's not weird! In the novels, Ameria was described as "be able to use several black magic spells and shamanistic spells" (4th book), and she used Garv Flare two times (in the 6th book and 7th book). In TV anime, she used Blast Ash at Seigram and Dynast Brass at Chaos Dragon Garv. It was natural for her to use those black magic spells.
Another difference of magic spells is... the power of each spell, right?
Yes, and especially about Dragon Slave. In the novels, the destructive power of a Dragon Slave is that of a bazooka. In the 14th book, I cast a Dragon Slave in the chapel of a shrine. The aftereffect of the spell remained on the premise of the shrine.
When you cast a Dragon Slave in a town in TV anime, the spell destroyed about one half of the town. The destructive power of a Dragon Slave in TV anime is that of the boosted Dragon Slave in the novels.
Let me say this. In the novels, I used Dragon Slave more prudently. I seldom used a Dragon Slave in a town or a city, and in the 14th book, I cast a Dragon Slave in the center of Sellentia city, because I knew that the spell would only destroy the upper part of the burned chapel of the shrine.
Is that so? But in TV anime, you cast a Dragon Slave in a town both in the first episode of the first season and NEXT.
In both case, the target weren't the town itself. In the first season, I cast the spell at a black dragon, and in NEXT, I used it to the orihalcon golem. There were proper reasons for me to cast a Dragon Slave in the town, and every anime needed climax!
In every TV anime, a town must be destroyed... right?
No, I don't mean it!
Could you tell me if there are other spells that have different power in the novels and TV anime?
I think that only Dragon Slave's case is clear to see. There are several spells that are described in the different form in TV anime or movies.
Yes, I remember that Bram Brazer was shown as the red --- pink beam in the first movie, but in the novels, it was described as the blue beam.
In TV anime, a Bram Brazer had a blue beam. The clearest case is Flare Arrow. In the novels, this spell was used in the first book, and was used again and again in the whole story. When a magic user cast this spell, "he held out a hand before him, and about a dozen of arrows of fire appeared before his palm" (1st book). I can create several dozens of arrows of fire in one time when I used the Demon Blood talismans. But in the anime, the magic user took a pose of an archer and created only one arrow of fire. So, Flare Arrow is described differently both in the pose for the spell and in the number of the arrow. Anyway, when a fan saw Zel shoot a dozen of arrows from his palm, that fan might think, "it's a shot gun, not a bow and an arrow", if the fan hadn't read the novels.
So, TV anime respects the name of the spells.
In another case, in the novels, a Ragna Blade was described "it was as long as a short sword" (5th book), but in the TV anime, it was much longer and wider. A Ragna Blade is bigger than a long sword!
Ragna Blade is Lina-san's trump card, so it was necessary to show it as dramatic as possible.

2. Set Up of the Characters
This isn't about the personalities or characteristics, but about the ages or heights.
Moment, please! As far as I know, the height of each character hasn't explained both in the canon novels and TV anime.
Don't worry. We'll only see the order of the height.
Oh? Are you confident?
At first, think about my age. I am the main character, and I'm as same age as in the novels and in TV anime. In the end of the first season, I had become 16 years old, and the end of NEXT takes place in 1 year after the end of the first season, and the end of TRY was 2 years after the first season. Besides, in the end of the first book of Slayers novels, I was 15 years old, and about two months later, I was 16 years old and in Sairaag. The end of the first part of the novels (the 8th book) takes place in about one year or one and a half year after the battle against the resurrected Ruby Eye, so, I was about 16 or 17 years old when Fibrizo was dead in Sairaag. In the last book of Slayers novels (the 15th book), I described the person, who disguised as me, as "about 17 or 18 years old".
I see that Lina-san in TV anime is growing better than you in the novels.
What? What do you mean?!
Let's see. Gourry-san is very tall, and in TV anime, you are as tall to reach to the middle of his chest. But, in the novels, you are described as "a little bit shorter than the average height of the girls of my age" (in the 1st book). If so, you can just reach to the pit of his stomach. Moreover, if you are grown up well as in TV anime, it's impossible for you to be disguised as "the stray boy searching for his father", but in the novels, you actually was (in the 5th book).
Whaaaat? How dare you to say what you like? Now, don't move!
It is Ameria-san, whose age in the novels and in the TV anime are totally different.
Chee! You evaded my spell...
(I got even with you.) In the novels, Ameria-san is the same age as Lina-san, so, Ameria-san always call you as "Lina", not "Lina-san". But in TV anime, when she and you met before you went to Sairaag, Ameria-san was 13 years old. So, there is 3 years of difference.
You are right, and she still has that breast!
Well... On the other hand, Ameria-san in TV anime is younger than you are, and she is shorter than you, too. When I see the comparision chart of the first season, if you, Lina-san, is 150 centimeters tall, Ameria-san is about 140 centimeters or so. But, for some reasons, in the begining of Slayers TRY, Ameria-san was as tall as you were.
What are the reasons?
Oh, that is a secret.
Hey! If you dare to say "secret", this report can't be completed!
Then, I give some clues. In the 11th episode of Slayers TRY, Ameria-san told Gourry-san, "My sister is as tall as you" and "All of my family are tall". "Family"... this is the clue. By the way, according to the magazine of author's fan club, Lina-san is 147 centimeters tall, and Ameria-san is 155 centimeters tall. I think that 155-centimeter-tall girl can't be said "a tall girl".
Those data aren't official, so, they can be denied in the future. Anyway, looking at the comparison chart for Slayers TRY, I see, Xelloss, you are very tall.
I'm the tallest next to Gourry-san.
In this chart, so, in Slayers TRY, you are taller than Zel, but in the novels, Zel is described as "a tall man" (in the 6th book), and you are "a man of average height and average weight"(in the 5th book). So, this is a reversal, isn't it?
Oh, I can be much shorter than you.
Why you suddenly become to be so short?
As far as I see, Gourry-san is as old and tall as in the novels, like you are.
He is Gourry, that's all.
Oh... What a simple consideration...
Come back to you own size! Now, we'll see the relationship between Zel and Ameria.
Are you going to deny Zel + Ameria coupling?
No, I don't talk about the coupling! I'll talk about how they met!
Well... Please explain...
In the anime, Ameria fought against Copy Rezo with us. This means that Ameria and Zel met in Sairaag. In addition, Prince Phil came to Sairaag, so, in TV anime, Zel met with Prince Phil as well.
Yes, he did.
Meanwhile, in the novels' story, Zel met with Ameria who had left Saillune with me after the happenings of Alfred. Ameria, Gourry, and I were involved in the case of the cult, which were going to create another Zanaffer, and during the battle, Zel and Ameria met together (the 5th book). It means that both Ameria and Prince Phil didn't go to Sairaag.
You are right. And in the Slayers first season, when Ameria-san saw Zelgadiss-san for the first time, she said, "he is suspicious" in his presence. On the contrary, in the novels, Ameria-san helped him with her white magic spell, not knowing who he was.
Probably, she had her own reason to do so. In short, in the novels, Zel went to Saillune alone (in the 3rd book) and didn't go to the castle, so, Prince Phil and Zelgadiss didn't know each other. Moreover, Ameria didn't know about Copy Rezo, and didn't know how Sairaag was destroyed at all (in the 8th book).
In the novels, I entered during the story of Zanaffer's case, so, I didn't meet with Prince Philionel, either.
Oh, you made me remember that. By the way, the owner of this site stick to the background of her fanfics, so, when she writes the story based on the novels, Zel doesn't know about Prince Phil in the fanfic.
And I am a useful character for the fanfic writers, since I can dissolve any inconsistencies with my words, "That is a secret".
I think that you are very useful character, because you are an errand Mazoku.
What do you want to say? ... Oh, I want to ask you a thing that is different in the novels and in TV anime.
What?
Zelgadiss-san wears white clothes in the novels, and the author wrote about his clothes again and again. But, in the anime, he wears cream-colored cloak, shirt, and trousers. The same thing can be said for Ameria-san.
Hmmm... I don't know about it, but I guess that the white clothes are difficult things for animation.
But, Filia-san put on a white cloak and a white hat.
Maybe... the materials are different... aren't they? Anyway, talking about the difference of the colors, we can't forget about the Demon Blood talismans. They are all red in TV anime, but in the novels, their colors are different one by one.
Oh, no, no. In the novels, the illustrations show that those talismans are all red. And the colors of each talisman were explained in the very last book for the first time.
Oh, no, no. In the 7th book of Slayers novels, there is a sentence, "Four talismans glittered four colors" (in p.227 of the 7th book).
Oh, really? But... all the books of Slayers novels after the 8th volume have colored illustrations in which Lina-san's talismans are all drawn as red.
It can't be helped, since the author hadn't decided which talisman is which color. He only wrote that the four talisman's colors were different one by one. But, I want to say this, it isn't fashionable to wear the talismans of red, black, white, and blue.
Well, talking about the fashion, Lina-san, you changed the clothes several times in the novels, but you always wore the same pink clothes in TV anime.
Oh, you don't have clothes what you are wearing now! And in TV anime, I changed my clothes to disguise several times!
But, it was for the disguise. In the novels, you changed your own clothes for travel.
I changed my shoulder guards when Slayers NEXT started!
Oh, really?
Yes, I did! In the Slayers first season, I wore a pair of the shoulder guards with two talismans near the neck, but in Slayers NEXT and TRY, there are one big talisman on each shoulder guards.
Let me see... Hmmm, the first shoulder guards are similar to the one you wore on the right shoulder in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd book of the Slayers novels. And the second shoulder guards are the same as the ones you bought in the 6th book. Wow? I didn't know it, but now I see that you had a rapier in the first season anime.
Yes. Perhaps, the anime staffs made me have a rapier because of my cuteness. But, in NEXT and TRY, I have a short sword as I did in the novels.
Did you wear that pink clothes in the 5th book for the first time?
As long as we refer to the colored illustration, it was in the 5th book I wore the pink clothes... but, in the black and white illustration in the 4th book, I wore the similar clothes to the ones I wore in TV anime.
In the novels, the author described your clothes only in the 1st book and the 2nd book, right? In the 1st book, your pants, robe, cloak, and boots were all black. And in the 2nd book, you wore a cream shirt, a navy blue robe and pants... Oh, you didn't seem to have a taste to wear pink clothes...
Where is a black magic user who wears pink clothes?
One is before my eyes, isn't she?
Shut up! Change your clothes to pink ones!

3. Original Characters in TV anime
Here we introduce the characters who appeared in the novels but not appeared in TV anime, and the characters who didn't in the novels but appeared in TV anime.
Wait a minute! As Slayers TRY was the original story in TV anime, so, all of the characters in TRY, who didn't appear in the first season and Slayers NEXT, were all the original characters for TV anime. And the story of the second part of the novels (from the 9th book to the 15th book) wasn't made for TV anime. So, here we don't talk about the characters in Slayers TRY and in the 2nd part of the novels, right?
It's okay. Now, let's see the characters in the first season.
The novel only characters were Rantz, a mercenary who had a weakness for women, and he killed a pure Mazoku in Sairaag with the Bless Blade. TV anime only characters were Zanglus, Vrumugun, the leader of the itinerant troupe who pretended to be my father in the 16th episode, and Bolan, who fell in love with Gourry in the girl's dress... Are there any more?
Sylpheel-san's father only appeared in TV anime. Erk-san? You said that Vrumugun was anime original character, but the person with the name Vrumugun appeared in the novel as well.
But, in TV anime, Vrumuguns were the copies of a man, actual Vrumugun, and Eris controlled them. So, the sorceress Eris and the sorcerer Vrumugun were different persons. However, in the novels, Eris was sorceress Erisiel Vrumugun, and she controlled many men with her magic, and let them introduce themselves as sorcerer Vrumugun in order to hide herself.
In TV anime, the actual sorcerer Vrumugun appeared in the last episode of Slayers NEXT. He was among the crowd celebrating Martina's and Zanglus' wedding. By the way, there are many other novel characters who didn't appear in the Slayers first season.
Who are they?
Oh, you are so cold to them... They were pure Mazoku Vizea, Were-spider Bardz, chimera-troll Goruas...
Oh, I didn't remember those who weren't humans.
Please don't forget them! I'm afraid that you don't remember the Mazoku character who appeared in the first season... Teeba in the laboratory of Rezo the Red Priest.
I completely forget him.
Please remember them! You don't have Gourry-san's brain, do you?
Hey! Don't compare my memory with Gourry's!
Ouch! You are cruel to slap me with a slipper... Oh, forget about my words...
Let's talk about the difference of Zanaffar in the novels and in TV anime. This magical beast appeared both in the novels and Slayers first season, but the characteristics were totally different.
In the canon novels, a Zanaffar was a chimera armor that some humans created basing on the skills written in the manuscript of the Clare Bible. It ate the knowledge of its victim, becoming to have ability to talk and understand the human's tongue.
In TV anime, it was a magical beast that was summoned by the manuscript of the Clare Bible. It was like a huge ameba with two necks of dragon.
It is very hard for those who don't read the canon novels to understand that the Zanaffar was a chimera...
I heard that some foreign fans regard Zanaffar as a Mazoku.
No way! Zanaffar is a troublesome creature for us, Mazoku. Well, how about talking about Slayers NEXT?
Alright. For about NEXT, many episodes were independent from the story of the canon novels, so, many novel characters didn't appear in TV anime. Let me say, the story of the book 5 and 6 were cut from the story of NEXT, so the characters in those two books didn't appear in TV anime.
They are Pure Mazoku Gio=Gaia, who helped Halcifom in the 2nd book, swordsman Rod, who dreamed to fight Gourry, Assassin Zooma, who was after your life in the 4th book and 6th book, Mr. Krotz, who was the leader of the cult, trying to create Zanaffar, and Mr. Krotz's right handed man, Balgmon...
Ducris, who volunteered to wear the chimera armor Zanaffar, Gilfa and Vedul, who fought Zelgadiss for the manuscript of the Clare Bible, and Feltis, who was killed by Xelloss' Blast Bomb.
Ladock, who hired Lina-san in the 6th book, Abel, i.e. Ladock's son, Raltark, who was the butler of the Ladocks, Guduza and Dugrdo, who helped Seigram to revenge on Lina-san and Gourry-san... All those characters appeared in the 6th book. And in the 7th book, there were Chaos Dragon's general Rarshart, and in the 8th book, there was Rarshart's minion, Moldirag... I think those are the important characters who didn't appear in Slayers NEXT.
Okay. Now, let's see the anime original characters in NEXT. They were Martina and her father, King Zoana, and Anti Aqua!
It isn't a character, but the perfect copy of Clare Bible didn't exist in the canon novels. There is no such a shrine.
Thinking about the theme of this report, "a little bit difference between Slayers novels and TV anime", the most important difference is what Lord of Nightmare did in our world, I suppose.
Oh? Do you talk about that supreme one? (shivering)
Why you are shivering? You know that both in the novels and in TV anime, there is an oracle of the universe destruction. That's it, when I lost control of a Giga Slave, the Emptiness would enter this universe and destroy everything.
Uh... yes...
And both in the 8th book of the novels and the 25th episode of Slayers NEXT, I lost control of Giga Slave and Lord of Nightmare possessed me.
Please don't call that name again and again!
Then, how I shall call it?
I think that you'd better not to talk about the One...
I will! This is very important. You know, I lost control of a Giga Slave, but, both in the novels and in TV anime, the universe wasn't destroyed. I know it was sorry for you, but, how do you think the reason why the oracle didn't come true?
(...)
You don't need to answer, if you don't want to. Well, in the novels, the dark lord of the dark lords was summoned to this universe by my spell. It would have spread its power around the universe gradually, but before it happened, Hellmaster Fibrizo attacked me, not knowing that LON had possessed my body. Being attacked, the creator of all the things lost its temper and struck back Fibrizo. At that time, that existence couldn't use its full power, since it channeled the power through my body, and a part of its power was used to keep possessing my body. But, as it was eager to kill Fibrizo, it consumed almost all of the channeled power to destroy Hellmaster, and it couldn't possess my body anymore. Losing the temporary body to exist in this universe, the one went back to the Sea of Chaos... In short, I did nothing to save this universe. My will to live or to save Gourry had nothing to do with that existence.
... Of course, a human's will can do nothing for that Great One.
But in Slayers NEXT, that existence was summoned by my will to save Gourry's life. My will was one existence in this universe, and that existence was perfect emptiness. The existence summoned the emptiness to this universe, and in exchange, my existence sank into the emptiness, the Sea of Chaos. It is give-and-take.
So, why the great one didn't destroy this universe? The oracle had said that when the perfect emptiness entered this universe, the great one would spread the darkness all through the universe.
I told you. My will had summoned that existence, so, my will to save Gourry's life was the very reason for it to exist in this universe.
It? That's too rude for the great one... But, even if your will had summoned the great one to this universe, the one had own will. I know that the one dreams to "go back to the days far before"...
I think that if Fibrizo hadn't attacked the existence, it would have... Before the existence acted as it wished, Hellmaster attacked it. The thing knew that Hellmaster was my enemy who was going to kill Gourry, so, it destroyed Fibrizo. After destroying Hellmaster, the thing lost its reason to keep existing in this universe, thus, it went back to its place, leaving the universe unharmed. I know that you, Xelloss, said, "the mother of everything seems to be very capricious". I don't think that my theory always works. Sometimes, it doesn't care about the will of the magic user who summoned it, and in that case, it will let the darkness swallows up whole universe. By the way, I think that TV anime had many difficulties to explain about Mazoku.
I agree. Let's compare how Mazoku are described in the novels and in TV anime.

4. Mazoku
The Mazoku who appeared in the story for the first time was Zoromu, one of the chasers of Rezo the Red Priest.
Zoromu appeared both in the novels and Slayers first season, and the appearance was the same.
But, in the story about Copy Rezo, Rezo's Mazoku were different between the novel and TV anime. In TV anime, there were some weak Mazoku served as the gatekeepers in the underground laboratory, and Teeba, who took form of a chicken... They were miserable to see, weren't they? In the novel, there was Vizea, who had only a half of very beautiful face. I think that many fans dreamed to see his acting in TV anime.
When Copy Rezo revealed its true form, half-Mazoku appearance, it still seemed like a human.
In the novels, Mazoku prefer to have a physical form similar to human, and their looks can be too grotesque to see in TV anime. Moreover, in TV anime, any Mazoku had to be an enemy who had been defeated within 30 minutes.
Kanzeru and Mazenda worked hard, I think.
Looking back upon Slayers TV anime, Mazoku were described as the beings to be fearful and very powerful, but they failed to explain the characteristics that you don't have a heart to feel, or you always look down the humans.
Oh, is that so? I think that I had a good job.
Don't talk like that. Your deed was the most different aspect between the novels and TV anime.
My deed? What deed?
You rescued Phil-san in Slayers NEXT.
I did it to frustrate Kanzeru's plan.
I admit it. However, you didn't kill a person in TV anime.
In Slayers TRY, I was going to give your life to Valgarv, saying that I would kill Lina-san. I was deadly serious then.
But, you didn't kill me. However, you were going to kill about one hundred villagers (in the 5th book). You would do it only because they would stand your way. If I hadn't stop you, you would have killed them.
It is very natural for me.
You also killed the members of the cult that had taken the manuscript of the Clare Bible (in the 5th book), and you set fire on Gairia city and made it a blazing inferno. You didn't do anything like that in TV anime.
I killed several lesser demons with a Blast Bomb, and I destroyed the Mazoku who controlled those lesser demons at Runan's place. Do you remember that I destroyed the Mazoku by my staff not by Blast Bomb? I also destroyed Seigram at the Dragon's Peak... Oh, are they all?
You had killed hundreds of dragons during the Kouma War, but it was a memory. By the way, you said that you didn't destroy a pure Mazoku with a Blast Bomb. It was because the shamanistic fire spell can't work for a pure Mazoku. Everybody knew that?
For lesser demons, all physical offense, including the shamanistic magic spells of four elements can work, because lesser demons have physical body. Besides, physical offense can't work for pure Mazoku, since their true body lies in the astral plane. The difference between how I killed the lesser demons and how I destroyed a pure Mazoku explained the characteristics of pure Mazoku.
But, in TV anime, there was no explanation that there were lesser demons and pure Mazoku.
The demons who were killed by a physical offense was a lesser demon, and the one who weren't destroyed by physical offense was a pure Mazoku in TV anime...
Hey! I remember that you were damaged by some physical offense!
I was damaged by what?
In the end of the episode about Brass Rackets, Zel's Fireball hit you, and you fell down!
I pretended to be damaged, because I couldn't reveal that I was a Mazoku.
In the shrine of the perfect copy of the Clare Bible, you were knocked down by Garv, and I could see a bruise on your face.
At that time, I didn't know that you had found that I was a Mazoku!
When Garv gave you a blow at the Dragon's Peak, you bled from your mouth. You didn't need to pretend to be a human then.
*sob, sob, sob*
So, some foreign fanfic writers wrote the stories in which you were knocked down by other characters.
No, thank you, please... Well? Aren't the Slayers novels translated to the other languages?
No. Even though Slayers anime were introduced to USA, Europe, and East Asia, Slayers novels were translated into Korean only, and the Korean Slayers had only 13 books. The 14th book and 15th book aren't translated yet.
I see. Without the translations, the difference between the novels and TV anime causes many misunderstandings.
That's the point! Oh, there is no time to talk more. Now, say good-bye to those who have read this report.
We greatly appreciate your reading this report
Although there are differences between the novels and TV anime, both are the Slayers. Let's enjoy both of them, then your pleasure will be more than twice.
To know both novels and TV anime will bring you a great pleasure.
Yes! So, people, let's find a new way to enjoy Slayers more! If you don't, I will go wild!
See you later.

Some people asked me how the characters' dispositions are different between in the novels and in TV anime. I can't talk well what I can't see with my eyes, so, I didn't have that subject in this report. Only I can say is what I think now. I think that Xelloss in the novels is much crueler than he is in TV anime, and Zelgadiss is a little bit more serious than he is in Slayers NEXT and TRY. However, these are my own impressions. --- QP/Diana (12/Feb/01)
