  • 大学病院勤務時代は、血液・感染症・消化器・肝疾患関連が主体でした。
    開業してからは（当然ながら）総合診療です。発表論文を振り返ってみると、海外で作成した英文論文と国内論文とでは歴然としたqualityの差があり、留学していた Univ of North Carolina at Chapell Hill時代の上司の影響が非常に大きなものでした。その教授のひとりが、Robert H Wagner (phD)ですが、彼は退職金を含めた莫大な寄付で若手育成機関を設立して、残念ながら2001年に亡くなられました。研究に対する姿勢、指導力、人格者として、教授とはかくあるべきということをまざまざとみせつけられました。あえて自己紹介の一部として一部自分の論文を列記しましたが、自分の論文の質の改善には、彼の存在と、1992年に登場したEBMの影響、そして、2006年からのGordon Guyatt教授がたとの交流があります。
  • GRADE memberとなってから、Gordon Guyatt(MD, MSc, FCCP, Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, McMaster Univ, Ontario, Canada), Yngve Falck-Ytter(MD, Case West Reserve Univ, Director of Hepatology, VA Medical Center Cleveland, OH, USA), との共著論文がいくつか作成できるようになりました。さらに、Holger Schunemann(Dept of Epidemiology, Italian National Cancer Institute Begina Elena, Rome),Jan Brozek(Department of Epidemiology, Italian National Cancer Institute Regina Elena, Rome, Italy), Andy Oxman(Norwegian Knowledge Centre for the Health Services, Norway)、Elie Akl(State University of New York at Buffalo, ECMC, Buffalo, NY, USA)との協力で、GRADE profilerについても一緒に仕事ができるようになり、質の高い医療・医学普及に関与できていることにはとても感謝するばかりです。下記#3の太字が英文論文で、青フォントが日本語論文の一部です。
