In the afternoon we moved to the National Taiwan University. 午後は台湾大学へ。
午前中、Helenaが雨中ながら陽明山国家公園を案内。公園および公園からの景色は雨ながら非常に美しい。日本による統治時代は日本語教育が行われていたためか、年配の方には日本語を話せる方が多く、休憩所でも日本語で話を交わした。

In the afternoon we went to Tienmu district. Tienmu is a district north of central Taipei, and high-class residencial area.
午後は天母地区へ。ここは日僑学校（＝日本人学校）や美国学校（＝アメリカンスクール）などもあって外国人も多く住み、高級感ある町である。我々は華納兄弟（＝ワーナーブラザーズ）などの入った大葉高島屋でショッピングを楽しんだり、星巴克（＝スターバックス）でコーヒーを味わったりした。

In the evening Eddie took us to Tunhua-lu Street, where we went to the Hardrock Cafe.
夕方はEddieが松山区を通る敦化北路を案内。硬石餐庁（＝ハードロックカフェ）や環亜百貨店（＝アジアワールドプラザ）などでショッピング。

At night Eddie's mother joined us and invited us to the dinner at King Join. After the dinner they showed us the building of the Supreme Court and the Grand Hotel.
夕食はEddieとEddieのお母様のお招きに預かり、京兆尹で。美味しゅうございました。食後は司法院や最高法院（＝最高裁判所）、円山大飯店（＝グランドホテル）に案内していただいた。

After the night sightseeing we made a phone call to Courtney who lives in Taichung.
夜、台中在住のCourtney（許秀芬検察官）と電話でお話することができた。
早朝にもかかわらず、Eddieが空港まで見送りに来てくれた。謝謝！短いながらも充実した旅行であった。
