■Translation
Dave Roberts （Dodgers の外野手）はピッチャーマウンドと
一塁線の間にドラッグバントをした。 May （Royalsの投手）が
マウンドからダッシュしてさばこうとしたところ、これをファンブル、
その後すぐに一塁へ送球するも、Mike Sweeney（Royalsの一塁手）
の頭上を越える悪送球になった。

a drag bunt
A bunt purposely hit away from the pitcher down the first
base line. The bunted ball trickles along so slowly down the
line that the batter is able to beat it to first base. The bunt
gets its name because the ball appears as if it is being dragged
by the batter on his way to first.
投手がフィールディングしにくいように、意図的にされた
一塁線へのバント。 バントされたボールは、ライン上に
ゆっくりと転がるので、俊足を生かして内野安打にすること
が可能。バッターがdrag（引きずる）するように見えるので
