＊ボールカウントの言い方は日本の場合とは逆にボールを先、
ストライクを後に言い、３−０ならThree to One と読み、
３ボール、０ストライクをあらわします。

＝Nixon fell behind, 0-2 to Gordon.
（NixonはGordonに対して２ストライク０ボールと追い込まれた。）
