ANGLE PLATE

The pieces measure 60 x 22 x 120 mm and 40 x 20 x 120 mm. 

Initially I planned on using cast iron for this project, but it was not as flat as I wanted, so I chose mild steel instead.


Marking out on surface block with scriber. See Articles #6 and #32.

The workpiece accurately positioned and clamped on the milling table.

Four holes are drilled and counter-bored. 

The workpiece is positioned so that the emerging drill bit will not damage the mill table. 

Slotting with an end mill using  a generous flow of cutting fluid.
