Five-week series

April 24th May 8th,15th,22nd and 29th
10:00-12:00

Rosalyn Hagiwara will teach you simple art techniques to help release stress. No drawing ability required. Come and enjoy a series of five classes in English on Thursdays from 10 to noon.
22,000 for the series or 5,000 per class.

‚P COLLAGE FOR STRESS RELEASE
The process of cutting or tearing pictures from magazines and gluing them to a sheet of paper to form a new image is in itself relaxing. You may be surprised at the message that comes across through your creation.

2 AFFIRMATION POSTER FOR PERSONAL CHANGE  Markers, stickers, postcards, and a variety of decorative items will be provided for you to create a poster on a positive aspect you wish to bring about in your life. Examples include  "I am relaxed,"  "I only eat nutritious food" or "I can speak with confidence." Put your poster up at home to help you toward your goal!

‚R CIRCLE ART FOR RELAXATION Try your hand at using pastels to fill a circle with colors and abstract shapes while listening to soft music. Experience how relaxing art can be once you release the need to produce something that "looks right." The circle provides a feeling of completion to your creation.

‚S SCENERY TECHNIQUE FOR SELF DISCOVERY You will draw and color a simple scene that includes 10 elements such as a river, mountains, and trees. No need to worry about whether your drawing is "good" or not. You may learn a lot about yourself from the completed picture.

‚T PROBLEM-SOLVING THROUGH ART You will use colors and shapes to represent an issue (big or small) that you are facing, and use the same technique to represent an ideal solution. You may discover a completely new perspective on your situation.
