Ashura is drived from a god of Zoroastrianism,
which is the religion of
worshiping flames. This god was, however,
introduced into India as an evil god.
Yet after Buddhism adopted this god from
Hinduism later, Buddhists began to believe
he was a faithful guardian of Gautama; the
founder of Buddhism.
