| The puzzle which a three-dimensional object was combined with which was
crammed in the box wasn't known so well in Japan, Generally, the conception of "the puzzle" was not Japan until about the 19th century. After various puzzles came from Europe and America, the word of "the puzzle" and a general idea took root in Japan. In recent years. "Pentomino puzzle" made by Mr. S.Oguro has the shape of twelve kinds of animals, and this puzzle was evaluated as an excellent work. "Jemini" designed by Mr. T.Betsumiya got high evaluation, too. Just, recently, Mr. A.Kamei won a Grand Prix with "IPP Puzzle Design Competition" in 2001. Mr. D.Nagata got it in 2002. then, Mr. M.Uematsu got it in 2003, too. A Japanese continued it for three years, and the honor of the Grand Prix was won as that result. As for the achievement of the puzzle in Japan, there is even a world in the top level. From this as well, we are expecting to create the puzzle that an excellent Japanese is wonderful |
