1 naturalization permit
Naturalization is to lose one'nationality
and to get Japanese nationality .A foreign
national himself has to apply to the Legislative
Bureau for naturalization .It seems hard
for him to collect and draw up a large sum
of documents during his work or chores .
2 permission for permanent residence
When a foreign national hopes for permanent
residence , he has to make the application
of it to the Immigration Bureau of Japan
. 10 years' residence is needed for this
application at least .There are three conditions
to apply for it . First ,he has not violated
regulations or laws since now , second
he has enough assets or techniques to live
on and ,third his permanent residence coinsides
with the benefit of Japan .
3 certificate of eligibility for a status
of residence
A company or an attorney applies to the Immigration
Bureau of Japan for the certificate of eligibility
for a status of residence and sends the certificate
to a foregn national .A foregn national hands
it as datum in the Consulate of Japan to
apply for visa and to get the working visa
,then lands on Japan .
4 change of status of residence
When a foreign national wants to change his
status of residence , for example , to change
from the status of residence of studying
abroad into that of human knowledge and international
business , he has to apply to the Immigration
Bureau of Japan for the permission .
5 acquisition of status of residence
When a foreign couple holding a status of
residence has a baby , they have to
apply to the Immigration Bureau of Japan
for the permit to acquire a status of
residence for the baby within 30 days after
his birth .
6 certificate of autherized employment
When a foreign national holding this certificate
transfer to other company , the procedure
of employment agreement will become very
smooth .
7 extention of period of stay
From before two months the period of stay
expires , a foreign national can apply to
the Immigration Bureau of Japan for the permit
to extend the period of stay
8 temporary visa
It is a visa to stay in Japan for sightseeing
or a visit to a family for a while . The
period is limited to 90 days at length
.
9 re-entry permission
When a foreign national holding a status
of residence wants to enter again after leaving
Japan , he has to apply to the Immigration
Bureau of Japan for the re-entry permission
before his departure . If he leaves Japan
without it , he will lose a status of residence
autmatically .
10 permit to engage in activity other than
that permitted under the status of residence
previously granted
When a foreign national wants to engage in
an activity except that permitted under the
autherized status of residence , he has to
apply to the Immigration Bureau of Japan
for the permit .
11special permission of residence
This application is made to the Minister
of Justice by an attorney such as administrative
lawyer , when an illegal stay of a foreign
national in Japan is found by the officials
of the Immigration Bureau of Japan .
