Azusa Pacific University is a California-based independent Christian university accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The Master of Arts Degree Program in Social Science with an emphasis in leadership studies is offered in the United States as well as a number of countries overseas through the Operation Impact Program.

The Master of Arts Degree Program in Social Science with an emphasis in leadership studies designed for experienced professionals who hold positions of leadership.
The program is appropriate for those who are interested in understanding how the process of human growth and development influences and enhances organizational life and productivity and how to manage personal and organizational change process.

Program Description
The program begins with a two-week concentrated class, usually held between June and August. Two courses are taken concurrently each week, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The intensive sessions are followed by year-long study projects contracted for each course. These projects, like the classes themselves, relate directly to each student's occupational responsibilities. Students earn up to 12 semester units of credit annually.

Admission Procedure
(1) Student must submit an Operation Impact Program admission application, three letters of reference, and a statement of the student's purpose in pursuing the Master of Arts Degree in Social Science with an emphasis in leadership studies.
(2) The APU Office of Graduate Admissions must receive transcripts from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university indicating completion of a bachelor's degree with at least 12 semester units of course work in social science or a closely related field.
(3) All students must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 in undergraduate and/or graduate course work; students with a grade-point average of 2.5-2.9 may be considered for provisional admittance.
(3) All international students whose native language is not English and whose undergraduate degree was at an institution where English was not the primary language of study must submit proof of a TOEFL score of 550 minimum.

Tuition Fees
Operation Impact tuition is $120 for each hour of credit; $90 for each non-credit.
