She lived in California for 17 years. She
speaks excellent native-speaker-level English. She has gained almost
full-mark in TOEIC.
When I was three years old, I went to the
United States due to my father's business.
When I was twenty, I had a chance to fly
back to Japan for three months. To my and
everybody's surprise, I met my husband then
and ended up staying here a lot longer than
originally planned. I find myself very lucky to have found work
where I can use my experience in both countries.
All my students are wonderful. So, I am fortunate
enough to learn the joys of teaching. I still
have much to learn, but I'm going to try
my best.
RINA SUGAWARA (ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR)
She has majored in English literature at
Senzoku-Gakuen Junior College. She had lived
in Canada for over two years.
Hi ! I'm Rina. I was in Canada's small town
called Banff. It is a beautiful town surrounded
by mountains and lakes. Squirrels run around
the yard and elks (big deer) walk on the
streets. Less than a 10-minute-drive out
of town, you can find many other animals
such as rabbits, deer, goats, sheep and even
bears!!
One day, I could not get into my house because
there was a big elk in front of the door.
So, when you visit Canada, be careful with
wild animals.
Let's have fun with English!

raised three children of her own! She is
one of the most cheerful instructors at Bilingual

When I was a college student, I had a chance
to stay with an American family. Since then,
I studied English hard to be a better communicater
and was waiting to meet the same American
family again. After 25 years, my dream came
true -- I was able to visit them in the States!
If you master English, you can communicate
with the people all over the world. The children
at Bilingual Kids can speak English very
well. I'm sure they can be excellent English
speakers in the future. I'm very happy to
help them learn English.!
