On 6th of August,2000,on the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord,the Congregation
　　 for the Doctrine of the Faith in Vatican published the declaration "Dominus Jesus" on
　　 the Unicity and Salvific Universality of Jesus Christ and the Church.This document was 
　　Published in the name of the prefect of the Congregation with the approvation of the
　　Pope John Paul II.The prefect of the Congregation at that time was Joseph Ratzinger,
　　today's Pope Benedict XVI.The main issue of this document is the inter-religions
 　　dialogue.The translation of this document has long been expected in Japan.Finaly 
　　in the beginning of June,the japanese translation was published by bishops' conference of 
　　Japan.The booklet of 94 pages contains the translation of the declaration and the general
　　introduction by the translator Fr.Mikio Wada to help the readers to understand rightly.
