This picture is about 7 months old, from before tuk remodeled the bathroom.this sink is gone, tuk installed a new one, new tile floor, new tub, etc.
I give them a regular swim to keep their skin soft. This way they shed quickly. If the skin is too dry the lizards are miserable during the shedding. How do I know they are miserable? do they talk? you ask -I can tell! I know when they are miserable!

this is the 55 gallon fish tank in the living room. tuk and i don't know how anyone lives without a fish tank. it's like a "living lamp." this is very heavily planted, the plants actually have a blooming cycle. if you look closely you can see streaks of blue - the australian tuquoise rainbow fish in motion. there are several other types of rainbow fish, too. it's hard to photograph the fish in motion! the mating behavior is awesome. a male approaches a female, he dips his head, and HE FLASHES A LIGHT IN HIS HEAD AT THE FEMALE!!!! the first time you see it, you're sure you are seeing things!!! the turquoise males flash a very bright yelow light, you can see it from across the room, you can even see it in the dark it is SO BRIGHT!!! the orange fish (i forget their name??) flash a lavender light, the boesmani (front half is blue, back half is orange, look on the right) change the entire front half of their bodies to a dark purple, i can't tell you how beautiful they are. they sure get the girls to notice them!
