Profile of the Creater of These Pages


Her handle for personal computer communications is COCO.
She is an artist who works under the name,Maki Takiya. In 1987 she joined the FB Communications Company and began working with computer graphics.With Jun Kurumizawa she formed the computer graphics artists' group,"Zip-Map".
In 1989 she began personal computer communications on Nifty-Serve. From that time on she began refferd to herself by her handle name,COCO.
In 1990 she won the Pixel Graphics Grand Prix Excellence Award.
She participated in the digital artists' group "Digital Image" from the time of its establishment in 1991, and in 1992 held an individual exhibition at "The Rabbit Hutch(USAGI-KOYA)", in the Tsukiji section of Tokyo.
In 1994,Takiya left "Zip-Map"to do her own free-lacing.(After that "Zip-Map"ceased to exist)

Also,as an accordion player,she is plannning a collaboration to put out a CD.
Takiya also works in Nifty-Serve FPICS(Picture Support Forum)as well as on the staff of FBEAT(the Music Forum for Pop,Rock,Jazz and World Music).Her Nifty-Serve ID is NBE01002. She resides in Yokohama.
