  • If your visit does not require a discussion with the doctor, the fee will simply be the sum of the vaccines you opt.

  • The discussion fee is 4,200 JPY per 10 minutes and please inform the receptionist that your visit will mandate a discussion.

Patients are welcomed to place their order for other imported vaccines not listed above. Number of exclusively demanding people wish to have their vaccines to be originated from European/American manufacturers. THE KING CLINIC is always ready to meet these demands.

The common products less likely to be seen in Japan are: Varivax, Tripedia, Daptacel, TriHIBit, Pediarix, Recombivax HB, ProQuad

Please read the following instructions:

  1. The cost will be the sum of the vaccine prices and shipping/handling/packaging. Thus the more you request at one lot, the less expensive it will be.
  2. Please let us know if you want the exact product you name, or if it could be any other alternative product available in Europe/US that has the same effect.
  3. Please allow us 2-3 weeks before it is available for you.
  4. Payment must be completed in advance at full amount.
  5. No cancellation is accepted.
  6. The Japanese Law prohibits imported vaccines to be administered by anyone else except for the doctor that imported (i.e. Dr. King, in this case). It is also prohibited to be merchandised in the country.
  7. For each administration of your ordered vaccine, there will be additional injection fee charged from the clinic.
  8. The order will be safely kept in our vaccine-storing unit at ideal temperature.

< IMPORTANT NOTES >

  1. Please call during office hours for availability.
  2. Vaccinations are not covered by the National Health Insurance. Limiting to the scheduled vaccines, free coupons for these may be provided by your local government for those qualified. Please contact your local government for further questions.
  3. Questions are answered upon your visit for administration of vaccine(s). If you just have general questions, it is advised to contact your local health center, for they can consult without charges, unlike the clinics.
  4. Second opinions or visits limiting to consultation only for this matter or question is not covered by the insurance.
  5. Administration of vaccine(s) following the non-Japanese schedule will not be supported by the local government, therefore this will be on your individual charge.

CHILDREN'S ROUTINE VACCINE: If you and your child are registered residents in Japan, ask your local city hall if your child is qualified for the free vaccine coupons, schedule, and when you will get them. The routine vaccines in Japan are colored yellow in the chart above. Make sure that you bring your maternity handbook ("boshi-techo", also provided by your city hall) and the coupon upon visit to THE KING CLINIC. Lacking either of them will not allow any doctor to administer.

Oral Polio (OPV - live attenuated): Please ask your city hall.
