This rider got a red-flag. That is 'GOSHINKI'.

riders are scrambleing to get red flag by each steck.
'Soma nomaoi' is the biggest horse event in Japan. And 'Goshinki Sodatsu' is most excitement event.'GOSHINKI' means GOD'S FLAG.
Many horse in the field,Scramble for launched 'GOD FLAG' each other.
'uma' means horse in Japanese.


Chagu chagu Umako (Iwate Prefecture)

'Chagu chagu Umako' It's a event which leading actor is Child.
Visiting to the Shrine by horse to Pray for Children Safety.
'uma' means horse in Japanese.


Suzukake Uma(Kagoshima Prefecture)

'Suzukake Uma' is a event to pray for Good harvest and prosper.

'suzu' means bell in Japanese. He wear many bells on their neck and carry a lot of flower. "chagu-chagu" is a sound of bells.



Dakyu
"Da-kyu" means hit a ball.It's a game chaseing 2 team, rider throu a small ball by each steck,if the ball hit the target, get a point.



Horo-Hiki
white and red means Autumn,white and green means spring.
