HGP
From here, you can download the latest version of HGP (Hieroglyph Processor).
With this application, you can write documents in picture - like writing systems, such as Hieroglyphics of Ancient Egypt.
The progress of characters and lines can be horizontal or vertical (left or right), and the location, direction and size of each character can be changed freely. And the layout can be registered into the dictionary.
This application uses special format font sets. However, You can output the documents in graphic formats such as Metafile, or copy the documents to the clipboard in Metafile format, so HGP can work with other applications, such as usual word processors or graphics software.
The font file and the dictionary file included are for Hieroglyphics of Ancient Egypt only. However, you can make your own fonts and dictionaries so that you can use HGP for other writing systems.
The menus and messages of HGP can be customized through the localization files. (Included are for Japanese and English. )
System requirements:
OS: Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0.
Hardware: That can run above OS conveniently.
You must have installed runtime libraries for Visual Basic Ver.5.

For HGP users:
Before trying to execute the self extracting archive, please make sure to make a buckup files of your own files such as document files, font files and dictionaries, to avoid the accidental overwriting.
Download HGP200.EXE and execute it, and input the directory (folder) name.
Please read "README.TXT" before trying to execute HGP.EXE .
