Announcing this year’s winner!

Congratulations to Phuong Tran, recipient of the 2009 Jason Choy Memorial Scholarship.  We received more applications this year than in any year past, making the 4th Annual JCMS another resounding success. Again we’d like to sincerely thank the donors for making this year’s award possible.

Phuong lives in Greenbelt, MD and this fall she will be enrolling in the International Business program at the University of Maryland, College Park. In her application, Phuong demonstrated a level of maturity and selflessness well beyond her years, reminding us in many ways of Jason and the values he espoused. We hope this award will ease Phuong along the road to a bright future for both her and her family. To learn more about Phuong click here.
