This is a typical course of OK-432 intracystic injection therapy for plunging ranula. Left: Before treatmennt. Middle (Left): The day after treatment. Middle (Right): 2 weeks after treatment. Right: 4 weeks after treatment. The patient is 13 years old girl. She was punctured at her submandibular skin and aspirasted cyst fluid, then injected 1.0KE of OK-432. The next day, the submandibular skin was swollen and became red and indurated. Local pain and fever (38℃) was observed for 2 days, and we used analgesics (oral and a suppository) to treat her. The hard submandibular induration gradually decreased in size. One months later, it disappeared completely and there was no scarring.
