Accomplished bailaor Ricardo Lopez has performed in Spain and internationally with such greats as Antonio Canales, Compania Maria Pages, Compania Rafaela Carrasco, Compania de flamenco Rafael Amargo, Balie Espanol de Paco Romero among others. He has danced in various tablaos in Madrid such as Casa Patas, El Corral de la Pacheca, El Corral de la Moreria, and Cafe Chinitas. Ricardo is currently performing as a soloist with the Nuevo Ballet Espanol of Madrid. On various occasions he substitutes as first dancer for Angel Rojas in the company.

Graceful, charismatic, but completely devoid of the kind of dramatic angst some of the other dancers pasted on, Lopez maintained an elegant carriage as he unfurled spectacular footwork accented by sharply angled kicks. It was a simple idea, powerfully executed and rhythmically thrilling.”
