The fundamental concept of this clinic is to “provide medical care of the highest quality”. Although we have only two specialties, both represent “top level medical care” of our Clinic.

We conduct diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, vascular disease, hypertension and arrhythmia. We also manage the underlying conditions such as of hypercholesterolemia, diabetes and other metabolic diseases.

Cardiovascular surgery
Dr. Kasegawa, the Director, is a specialist in cardiovascular surgeries. Especially, he is an expert in heart valve surgeries, and has been invited overseas to give lectures or surgical demonstrations in mitral valve reconstruction and stentless biological valve grafting.

Laboratory tests

　Echography: 　Heart, abdomen, carotid artery echography are available, using the newest machines.

　X-ray: 　The newest machine with low radiation exposure is used.

　ECG, Holter ECG, exercise ECG, blood tests (PT-INR measuring device), others.

Operations
Dr. Kasegawa, Director of the Clinic, performs surgeries at the Syowa University on Monday morning, and at the Sakakibara Heart Institute on Wednesday. The Sakakibara Heart Institute accommodates the second largest number of cardiovascular operations in Japan. Patients of this Clinic can receive operations from Dr. Kasegawa or top specialist in the field.

After Operation
After operation, the Hanzomon Cardiovascular Clinic will take full responsibilities for the follow-up.

Hospitalization
If hospitalization is required because of the disease condition, prompt admission to Sakakibara Heart Institute is possible, where the Director also works.

Diseases Other Than Cardiovascular Diseases
When diseases of the neurological, gastrointestinal and other systems besides the cardiovascular system are suspected, we shall refer the patient to a hospital or doctor most appropriate for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

Common symptoms such as cold and abdominal pain
Of course, we also care for these conditions.

Electronic medical record
You can see your own medical record on a computer screen while receiving consultation. Test results can be checked in time order. The blood collection counter, consultation room and office are connected by electronic medical record, thus shortening waiting time
