Type 5540
It is the series that it appeared as a lower model of 5550.
The form of the system, unit was made a general desk-top type.
Instead of the number of expansion slots decreasing, a slot for the increase was made
for the main memory and the kanji ROM.
It changed into the form which FDD which was more compact by 3.5 inches was used
for at the moment when 5550 came to use this case.
i8086 was adopted to the model E, i80286 is adopted after the model J.

It isn't equipped with the Kanji ROM with a model of the initial type.
