春 / Spring
 だいたい3月から5月。過ごしやすい季節です。 天気は周期的に変わります。 4月はじめには花見に行くと結構でんな。 From March to May. It is a comfortable season. The weather changes regularly. It is one of the most important recreation for many Japaneses to see cherry blossoms in the first week of April. |
夏 /
Summer 7月と8月。6月から7月半ばまでは梅雨（雨季）です。 7月から8月の間は湿度、気温ともに高くなります。 だいたい名古屋の夏は暑いでしょうと聞かれます。私は この地方の生まれなので、夏はこんなもんやと思ってます。 July and August. The rainy season is from June till middle July. From July to August, it is very hot and humid. People asks sometimes "It is very hot, Nagoya summer, isn't it?" I (tutor) was born in this region, so it is usual temperature for me. |
秋 / Autumn だいたい9月半ばから11月。比較的過ごしやすい季節です。 庭に柿がなりますが、渋柿でそのままでは食べられません。 From middle September to November. It is an agreeable season. We have some persimmons in the garden, but they are astringent and it is difficult to eat them raw. |
冬 / Winter
 だいたい12月から3月。雨はあまり降りません。 乾燥して、寒くなります。ときおり雪も降ります。 From December to February. It does not rain so much. It is dry and cold. We have sometimes snowy days. |
