I went to The maldives scuba diving trip in live a boat.
The maldives have many scuva diving live a boat. This one call a "Blue Shark".

Date:2001/03/11

First day.
We have check dive in " Sun light tira " point in north mare.
I met big MANTA rays. It's first time for me.

MANTA go over me. MANTA is three times over my height.
Oh! fantastic creature.

We met big (fish) swirl.
I take many swirl shoot,but my hund made wide angle lenz have little problem.
Many photos are fail.

Take moving subject is weak for DSC-P1.
If , I take moving subject,then It's need MORE powerful speed light.
DSC-P1 not have TTL system.

Other digital camera have same problems.

VERY strong current. I use big hook, connect to me and rock.
It's like this cameraman.

Napoleon fish is stare at me.

BANANA. BANANA.
Do NOT eat green one.
How is it?
Oh! You can try it. It is not dainger.
I try it. 8^)

How is this boat?

It is convenient size, I think.

Many small fishes,they move first,this picture have little blur.
I take many picture have bulr...
Anyone have good tips?

Clownfish.
Clown fish? How difference between Anemone fish and Clown fish?
I don't have good Engrish fish gide.
I will check later.

Looks like a stick.
Stay there,Don't move.
He play haide and seek.

This picture have little white dot.
It was marine dust.
I use speed light.Beam refrect this dust and make bright point.

If you don't like dots,You use extend speed light or More drew near fish.

Spotted eagle ray
It's fly blue water.Wing was move slowly.

This picture take dark place,there is under the over hang.
speed light is automaticically flash.

But it was little dark.This picture is little dark i think.
May be EV setting mistake.

Photo is blurring,becouse fish always move amd I'm move.
Ha Ha, current is litte strong for fish and me.

Barracudas
They are young,may be. They don't have virtical stripes.

Two or three years ago,sea anemones are color chenge white.
0 - Earth temperature average is up. May be.
1 - Rise in temperature Seawater.
2 - Died corals.
3 - Corals color chenge white.
4 - Sea anemones are color chenge white.

Now sea anemones color came back. When corals come back?
It's need loooong time.

Shoal fishes,It's over one hundres?
No, I meet, that are thousands of fishes.

I don't have wide angle lenz,,,, I cant take it.

Not clear water,
I met big MANTA rays.
They make a tour of a round me.

Who is he/she?

At this time,We land in uninhubited island and play snorkel.

Blue Surgeon fishs are scroll. Dinner time? They bite hard corals.

Asteroidea(Star fish).It's nice name.
In JAPANESE,We call this HITODE that mean human hand.
This name is nice too, I think.
