*Graduated from Department of Science, Faculty of Biology, Okayama University.
*I taught high school biology for 35 years after I graduated from the university.
*Brass band adviser for students, took charge of conducting, appeared in a concert contest. (I went to Vienna to appreciate the opera from Galerie - the highest hobby.) It was not easily for me.
*I participated in biochemical research of visual pigment (rhodopsin) at the laboratory (Department of Science, Faculty of Biology, Osaka University, Kito group). At the time of Mr. Kito's retirement, the research subject was changed to the Japanese honeybee. (I was interested in the life of the honeybee in a city area, and I carried out investigation and observation of bees.)
*I retired from high school teaching three years early to concentrate on research of honeybees, and I grow organic vegetables in the city.
*Now, I belong to the Suntory Institute for Bioorganic Research as a part-time researcher and to the Kyoto University Ecology Research Center as a guest researcher .
