dbCrib is the very simple simple database made for the purpose of using in a level like a wordbook.
Because a function was made simple, it only tap an icon, and it can be done almost all the operation .
The screen shot of the following and the inside of the explanation indicates a color tentatively though it is monochrome.
When dbCrib is started, it becomes a screen like the left. The list of the database being installed is indicated here.
Four icons which are necessary for the operation of the database stand in a line in the screen bottom.
It is "Open" "Delete" "New" "Preferense" in order from the left. There is a similar menu item in the menu as well.
Tap the database name which wants to open to open a database, and take climax indication, and choose "Open" from the menu, or tap the leftmost icon. When a database is opened, the screen of the list indication of a record like the left is indicated.
Tap the database name which it wants to delete on the database list indication screen, and take climax indication, and choose "deletion" from the menu, or tap the second "Delete" icon from the left to remove a database.
Tap OK button for a sense because it confirms whether it is really deleted.
It is returned on the screen of the list indication even if a database is removed when it tap OK.
Choose "New" from the menu, or tap the second icon from the right to make a database. Then, it becomes the screen which the setup item which is necessary for the preparation of a new database like the left is input from.
The contents of each setup item are the next.
"Name"...The name of the database.
"Field1"...The contents indicated in the leftmost part
"Field2"...The contents indicated in the second from the left
"Field3"...the contents which aren't indicated .
Tap the database name which it wants to change to change contents of a setup of the database which has been made, and take climax indication, and choose "Preferense" from the menu, or tap the rightmost icon. BThen, it becomes the screen of a setup change like the left.
The change of "Name" "Field1" "Field2" "Field3" can be done here.
And, "Backup" of the database can be set up here, too.
It is supported in the mother ship at the time of Hotsync when the check box of "Backup" is examined.
A backup bit is off by the database that new case was made under the state of the early days.
It becomes the screen of a record list indication like the left when it tap the database name which wants to indicate a record and climax indication is taken and "Open" is chosen from the menu or it tap the leftmost icon. It is "Detail" "Back" "Delete" "New" in order from the left. There is a similar menu item in the menu as well. It is returned on the database list indication screen when it tap the second "Back" icon from the left.
Tap the record it wants it indicated when it wants to indicate contents of details of the record, and take climax indication, and choose "Detail" of the menu, or tap the leftmost icon. Contents are indicated on a details contents indication screen like the left.
To delete a record, it tap the record which it wants to delete on the record list indication screen, climax indication is taken, from the menu, "Delete" Choose it, or tap the second "Delete" icon from the right.
Tap OK button for a sense because it confirms whether it is really deleted.
It is returned on the screen of the list indication even if a record is deleted when it tap OK.
Choose "Add" on the record list indication screen from the menu, or tap the second icon from the right to make a record for the new case. Then, it becomes the screen which the setup item which is necessary for the preparation of a new record like the left is input from.
When the contents of each field are established and it tap a "Back" icon, it is cut into not the record list indication screen but the details indication screen, and it takes its place, and comes to indicate the whole.
It is returned on the record list indication screen when it tap the rightmost "Back" icon if it is OK.
At this time, a record list is sorted automatically with contents of Field1.
It is cut on a record details indication screen like the left, and it takes its place when it tap the record which it wants to indicate details on the record list indication screen in and "Detail" is chosen from the menu or it tap the leftmost icon. There are two icons under the screen. "Edit", the right are "Back" icons .
All the contents of Field1,2,3 aren't omitted, and it is indicated on the record details indication screen.
It becomes a Field name that it is bound with.
"Back" When it tap an icon, it is returned on the record list indication screen.
tap a "Edit" icon when you want to edit the contents of the record.
It becomes the following editing screen, and editing of the record becomes possible.
The left is a record editing screen. Each content of the record can be edited.
"Back" When it tap an icon, it is returned on the record list indication screen.
It is glad at this software when I can have an impression and the opinion by mail though it is freeware.
