A memo reader is Palmware that the database of the memo pad (MemoPad) that PalmOS is equipped with the standard is read.
It copes with jog dial of clie.
A movement environment is after PalmOS3.0.
When MemoReader is started, the database of the memo pad is opened automatically,
and it becomes a screen like the left.
The title of the memo is indicated at the top of the screen,
and it comes to do the contents of the memo in the bottom part of the screen only eight lines.
It can scroll the number of lines which can be indicated at a time though it is only eight lines.
The icon that a pencil is stuck in the paper in the right of the title
on the screen most is the icon which starts a standard memo pad.
When it is edited in earnest, it is suggested that a memo pad is started with this icon.
The icon of the glasses in that right is a title search icon.
The title list of a category to indicate at present can be referred to.
Furthermore, that right is a pop-up trigger for category switching.
A magnifying glass in the left of the title list is a preview mark.
This means to indicate contents of a memo in the memo field.
Scrolling by the hard button is assigned to a title list with Option-Setup of the menu,
or the matter whether it is assigned in the memo field can be set up. A title list scrolls over and under the hard button when it is assigned to the title list, and it has a preview done by a memo field. In this case, when the record of eight lines and more is indicated in the memo field, scrolling of the memo field becomes possible only with tap of the scroll bar.
When scrolling by the hard button is assigned in the memo field, the contents that a preview is being done over and under the hard button can be scrolled in the reverse.
A right screen shot assigns scrolling in the memo field. When scrolling by the hard button is assigned in the memo field, line scrolling is taken, or a setup becomes effective.
MemoReader has an easy edit function.
With Option-Setup When Edit enable is checked, editing by the memo field becomes possible.
They are only Undo, Cut, Copy and Paste as an edit function.
But, it can always use even if doesn't check Edit enable only with Copy of this.
It is copied on the clipboard, and it can have it use with other application.
When Private is checked with Option-Setup, the record of the Private attribute is indicated, too.
It isn't indicated when a check is missed. But, you must input a password except that a check is put when a private record is indicated. A password is not Memo Reader, but it uses the password set up with Security of PalmOS. Memo A password by the Reader individual can't be set up.
Tap the title which wants to do a preview in the title list to move a preview mark.
A preview mark is moved, and the contents of the memo field are indicated again.
When it tap a title search icon, the input dialog of the reference string opens.
The length of the string which can be looked up is to twenty-character (half-corner ASCII characters).
Furthermore, a preview is done when the reference is continued from the place where it hit it so that the
title which hit next may be the same.
Unless Memo Reader is finished or a power supply is cut, the string looked up right before the front is indicated
in the dialog which a reference character is input to again.
Though switching of the category can be done with a pop-up trigger, even this Memo Reader can do switching by the hard button in these others.
But, you must change the one with the profit of the hard button to Memo Reader in this by the setup of Palm. It comes to change every time that button is pushed after the start when it is assigned to MemoReader in either one of the hard button.
A standard memo pad starts when it tap a memo pad start icon.
At this time, it is started under the condition that the contents that it wants to do a preview with Memo Reader can be edited as it is. If a hard button is assigned to Memo Reader, it can be returned on the screen of Memo Reader by pushing a button.

As for scrolling, the movement which is really the same as top and bottom of the hard key is done.
A category changes when jog dial is pushed.
It tap a trash can icon to delete the memo doing a preview.But, a warning like a left figure goes in the case of (a state of editing un-permission) that Edit enable isn't being checked by the setup (setup) of MemoReader. Check EditEnable when you want to use a deletion function.
Edit A confirmation dialog like a left figure is indicated when it tap trash can icon
under the condition that enable is being checked.
Tap "OK" when you may really delete it. At this time, when the check box of "the Save archive copy on PC" is examined, a backup can be left on the PC. It is the same as the deletion function of the standard memo pad.
And, it can be deleted from the menu as well.
It is glad at this software when I can have an impression and the opinion by mail though it is freeware.
And, an author can be responsible for no problem as well to arise by using this software at all.
