

In Japanese Edition, "'Bulldog' Sen-chan" is "'Suppon' no Zen-chan" or "Zen-chan of 'Snapping Turtle'".
Although Mothra's Home land is called "Beiru island" in English edition of the first movie, it is called "Infant island" from the first in Japanese edition.
"Tokyo Olympic March" is composed by Yuji KOSEKI who composed music for "Mothra" the first movie including famous "Mothra's Song".
Who is Susumu IKE, the song writer of the Peanuts' another Mothra song, "The Girls From Infant Island"? According to Ishiro HONDA, it is a penname for Koji KAJITA, an assistant director of Honda! He wrote and translated at least several lyrics including song for a movie of the Peanuts (Ito twin sisters).
"Mothra's Song" has some more arranged versions other than Koseki's by Akira IFUKUBE ("Godzilla vs. The Thing"), Masaru SATO ("Godzilla VS. the Sea Monster"), and Toshiyuki WATANABE ("Rebirth of Mothra" series). You can listen most of them with this CD.
"The Girls From Infant Island" has also two versions: Koseki's for the movie and EP recording version by Hiroshi MIYAGAWA who composed musics for "Space Battleship Yamato (Star Blazers)" and great many popular songs esp The Peanuts. You can hear both versions in CD "Mothra Song The Best ".
Both English edition and Japanese edition have each two versions. Japanese are 1961 version (101 minutes) and 1974 reduced version (62 minutes). English are 1962 version (88 minutes) and 1991 version (91 minutes).
