Fukaya city had many hotels along the Nakasendo street in the Edo period about 150 from 400 years ago. Our company was established in 1863. We have stuck to handmade sake. We got the gold medal at the nationwide sake competitive exhibition in 1993,1994,1996. We make sake from high quality rice and water. We want many many people to drink our sake Kikuizumi. We have had many efforts to acquire great skill, and will do. It's our principle.

the person in charge of this page Hideyuki Takizawa I graduated from Waseda Univ. in 1994, and then worked for Ishikawa Sake brewery in Tokyo and studied brewing techniques in the national research institute of brewing in Hiroshima. I joined Kikuizumi Takizawa Sake Brewery in 1998.
