First, let me explain the relationship between the body and Qi. As you know, the human body is made of Qi, and his/her life activity is sustained by the movement, change and smooth flow of Qi . So, the more Qi in the body becomes fulfilled, the healthier the body becomes. The smoother the flow of Qi becomes, the more people can enjoy healthier and longer lives.
. In their body, there is a natural circulation of Qi. That is, Qi circulates incessantly in people’s body till the end of their lives from the lungs --to the large intestine --stomach--spleen (corresponding to pancreas in modern Western medicine) --heart--small intestine--urinary bladder --kidneys --pericardium ( heart constrictor )-- San Jiao ( Triple Warmer ) ---gall bladder --liver -- and to the lungs again following the twelve Zangfu system ( the body organ system ) and the twelve meridians (channels of Qi flow ). If we lose much Qi because of some reasons or if Qi- flow falls into disharmony or does not go smoothly because of some troubles in our twelve Zangfu system or twelve meridians, some disease will surely attack us.Therefore, every therapy based on traditional Chinese medicine tries to fulfill Qi and make Qi circulate smoothly through meridians in order to cure illnesses.
Tong Hui Gong was created applying traditional Chinese medical principles and based on the natural channel of Qi flow in our body (passing through the regular route of the twelve Zangfu system and the twelve meridians ). Especially, all of the prime methods of Tong Hui Gong aim at checking and strengthening each part of the twelve Zangfu system and the twelve meridians one by one. As Tong Hui Gong is in perfect accord with people's physiological condition, continuous practice of this method will surely fulfill Qi in the body and help Qi circulate there ideally well and finally enable people to recover from illnesses sooner. That is why Tong Hui Gong is very effective in curing diseases.( Answer : by Dr. Yu Yong Chang )
