These restaurants have decks, known as "kawadoko" set up overlooking the river. Eating Kyoto cuisine and drinking beer or ice-cooled Japanese "sake" with sunset view and breeze on the deck are summer-time Kyotoist's elegance. Dress codes: Casual.
