ポーランドといえばコペルニクス、だけじゃない！２０人の子供たちと作りました。音楽は合唱です。ポーランド民謡「森へ行きましょう」の日本語カラオケつき。この作品を見れば、ポーランド語でも歌えるようになります。
美しいろう細工のような人生最高のソフトクリームや、ピンク色の冷たいスープを食べましたが、作品に入れるには間に合わず、残念、きっと次回に！
Poland is not only Copernicus. Music was sang by children, Polish traditional song with Japanese words. You will be able to sing for both, after you saw
this film. I have ate the most beautiful ice cream of my life, and a nice cold pink color soup but maybe next time I will draw them.
Daumenreise は、手描きの動画を実際の風景の中で撮影する「Wiener Wuast」と同じ手法を用い、
様々な国で、現地の学生や子供たちと、その場所にまつわるアニメーションを作るワークショップ・プロジェクト。
２００７年から、これまで台湾、ノルウェー、クロアチア、イスラエル、京都、ポーランドで制作。
作品は全てつなげ、最後は月で地球を背景に撮影して「地球フィルム」にしたいと思っています。
Daumenreise is an Animation workshop project with the same method of “Wiener Wuast” -shooting small drawings in our hands in the real view, over the world with students, children and friends.
Films have been made in Taiwan, Norway, Croatia, Israel, Kyoto, and Poland since 2007.
In the future, the film will be “the Earth film” - shooting from the Moon with the Earth as final background.

This is not workshop but a corporation work by 5 artists.
Kyoto is beautiful, I have more and more things to draw, place for shooting.

イスラエルは死海博物館、砂漠、皮のサンダル、ファティマの左手、金のドームに金のネックレスに胸毛！？ 何を食べてもおいしかったし、学生も先生もみんな、人がとにかく親切で温かかったです。
In Israel, there are Dead Sea museum, desert, sandals, fatima, gold dome, gold neckless, and hairy chest ?
All teachers, students are so warm and friendly, and also I enjoyed all foods !

フィヨルドなんてどう描くの？…描けました。サーモンを撮影しに遠くまで行きました。４月だったのに吹雪で、室内撮影も多くなってしまいましたが、その分工夫があります。みんながそれぞれのバージョンを作ったら、ヘヴィメタをBGMにした学生もいました。さすが発祥の地。チーズスライサーもノルウェーの発明品だそうです。
I was asked how we could draw Fiord. Not so difficult. It was harder to reach nice Salmon restaurant. It was in April but we had snow, so some of them had to shoot not outside but in the room, with their own nice idea. One of student used death metal since it was came from Norway.

初ワークショップは台湾で。南国ならではのカラフルなフルーツや不思議な食べ物、それに信号機の「歩く」人がほんとにアニメーションで歩くのが台湾！炊飯器やお茶など、日本人にはおなじみのものも登場して嬉しくなります。
The first workshop has done in Taiwan, where they has colorful fruits and foods. Their traffic light shows “walking man” like animation. I have never seen such light before. In this film, something, such as rice cooker or tea,
appeared and it was sympathetic.

Hrvatska Gibanica クロアチアの動くケーキ

天才的な子供たちでした。それもそのはず、クロアチアの学校では午後に好きな科目を習うことができ、彼らは放課後にアニメーションクラスに通う子供たちだったのです。タイトルにもなった「ギバニツァ」は、層になったケーキで、直訳すると「アニメーションケーキ」となるそうです。
クロアチアはネクタイ、ナイーヴアート、１０１匹で有名なダルメシアン犬、そしてなんと国旗のような市松模様の花もあるとか。
They are genius children. No wonder, since they can learn something what they want in the afternoon, include animation. “Gibanica” is layered cake and the name means “moving cake”. Croatia invented tie, and they have “naive art, Darmesian dog, and they said there is a flower with pattern like their flag.
