TITLE : Preparing for the Showdown

実は...今年年明けの3日にReonからたくさんの写真が送られてきていました。それをほったらかしにしていたのは、Yumiです。ごめんなさい。
ちょうどTOPICSでPANORAMAのお話をみなさんにお伝えしたばかりなので、連携のチャ〜ンス！とばかりに、本日、掲載を果たしてみました。
PAMBERIのメンバーはPANORAMAに向けてこうゆう準備をしていたんです。
題名は『ある一日』（この題名は単なる思いつき）。
※キャプションもYumiの思いつきです。

TITLE : 2007 Greetings

"Season greetings and best wishes to each and everyone, in this season of giving, sharing and receiving I do hope that good blessings will be bestowed upon you and your family.
This season is also a time for reflection, a time when one mentally revisits his/her past in preparation for one’s future. May all of your dreams, do come true in the year 2007 and beyond. - Brian - "

I hope that the new year brings for you all that you wish.
As for us here in Pamberi we plan to use this year to advance ourselves in the panorana competition�and that should give us a nice boost for the year.

"Hello and warm greetings to all of our Pamberi fans and family. 2006 had bought many milestones and success in my life both here in Trinidad and in Japan as well (smile). In Trinidad I’ve been able to successfully retain the title of the national junior panorama competition with St. Augustine Senior Secondary Comprehensive School as an arranger, complete my year one course at the University of the West Indies (thank God), and hopefully compose a song for junior panorama next year (fingers crossed).
In Japan 2006 I was exposed to hosting a series of workshops which I must say was an amazing experience. The joy of seeing young children being thrilled when they played the pans bought tears to my eye. The opportunity to be part of the Nagoya’s Dance Festival which I will always treasure.
In 2007 I all I ask of the almighty is to give me health and strength so I can persevere in bringing success in my life, my steelbands both junior and Pamberi and to entertain our fans both here and in Japan in fact for everyone for that matter.
Until 2007, take care and I hope to see you soon oh and look out for my pan song next year entitled “PRESSURE”. I hope you enjoy (smile). - Cheo - "

TITLE : Christmas Dinner

"Greetings from Trinidad and Tobago, the land of multi-cultures bonded by its rich heritage and ancestry. I am Reon Patterson a member of Pamberi Steel Orchestra and would like to share with you a warm, tropical, Trinbagonian (Trinidad and Tobago) christmas pamberi Style. We will focus on�two Major events hosted by Pamberi and during this season and also some activities that took place at our pan theatre.

As you may already know Pamberi hosted "We ting" the concert on, November 11th, at Pamberi pan theatre Which featured top local and international artists. We prepared twenty-five piece orchestra and a repertoire of twenty-six selections which accompanied cast of local and international talent. A three hour concert of "we ting" i.e. local dialect for our culture and our music. The concert was a success, a breathtaking performance had the audience in a frenzy calling each artist for an encore piece. At the end of the scheduled concert Pamberi serenaded the patrons with a few selections from their repertoire to complete a magnificent evening.

The next Major event hosted by pamberi is our annual Christmas dinner/year in review on december 14th. Pamberi is of the view that players are its most valuable assets, "the success and failures of the organization lies deep within the spirit of each member", because the essence of� music dwell with in ones feelings, attitudes, and emotions so much emphasis is placed on player comfort and satisfaction. One method used in achieving this is our annual christmas dinner/year in review ceremony which highlights what the band and its members have achieved during the past year. This year's dinner was centered around the individuals who pioneered pamberi since the merger in 1980, the date chosen for this years feast is in commemoration of the pamberi's first stage side whose first public performance as pamberi steel orchestra at our presently upgraded facilities. The dinner was held at our multi purpose hall in our pan theatre and was outfitted by a professional interior decorator. Members, friends and supporters were all spellbound by the ambiance and comfort of the surroundings, the food was professionally catered and a well stoked bar with the finest scotch�whiskey. After all the formalities came the segment which every one loves, where we remove the tables and chairs pack away the utensils and create a party. This year we celebrated pamberi's birthday in style and fashion and gave full recognition to the individuals who instituted its birth."
