| This application is derived from an Excel table which I used to convert various units into another for my business. Since my taste is rather using a notebook PC than a desktop PC, I was bothered by a large window every time I opened the table. Another thing is that I wanted to keep the table always displayed while reading scientific documents. So I created Unit Converter and have pursued to shape it smallest and to make it easiest to reach target conversion menu selections, while incorporating as many units as possible. |

VERSION 3.2 - IMPROVEMENTS
- The main window can be minimized in the tray on the taskbar, where you can directly choose the conversion menu items. No other space is necessary on the desktop!
- The Equivalents table was added. This was previously a hidden function.
- A high-performance math expression evaluator ExCalc is attached.
- Some physical quantities and units were added.
VERSION 3.11 - IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXED PROBLEMS:
- The minimizing function was added to the button window.
- The built-in calculator can be independently handled.
- Exiting the program when minimized in the task bar caused a runtime error. This bug was fixed.
- The minimizing button for the main window was added to the Japanese version.
- It was reported that the English-language version of Unit Converter didn't correctly display some special characters other than English letters and numerals. This problem must have been fixed in v.3.11 for at least English-language version of Windows.
- The earlier version of Unit Converter did not support some languages where a comma is used as decimal separator in place of a period like Italian and French. This problem must have been fixed in v.3.11.

| This program requires Visual Basic 5.0 runtime drivers. You can download the setup module from this site as freeware. Be sure to download the correct module for Visual Basic 5.0 (VB5) and follow the instructions icluded in the file. |
