Hiroshima Botanical Art Society ボタニカルアートは、
botanical(植物学）とart(芸術）の語が示すように科学と芸術の両面を併せ持った植物画のことです。
広島ボタニカルアート ソサイエティ（HBS）は、２００４年国際交流ネットワーク広島に
サークル登録しました。
２００９年２月 『NICHIMADA』という 日本とマダガスカルの友好親善グループの協力で
マダガスカルの子供達に色鉛筆や文房具を 送ることができました。
２００９年９月 その色鉛筆で描かれたマダガスカルの 子供達が描いた植物の絵が届きました。
私達は、ボタニカルアートを通して、
国際理解と交流を深め 自然や環境のことを考え、少しでも社会貢献できる活動を目指しています。
Botanical Art originally started as pictures of plants for science.
But nowadays there are technologies we can use such as cameras and scanners.
We believe botanical art has something beyond science.
Hiroshima Botanical Art Society (HBS)registered at International Relations Network Hiroshima in 2004.
We meet in one of rooms at Hiroshima International conference center once a month.
In February 2009, we had the opportunity to send colored pencils
and other stationeries to Malagasy Children through "Nichimada" , a group
that promotes goodwill between Japan and Madagascar.
In September 2009, the children there sent us the pictures of plants they had drawn.
Our aim is to communicate others internationally , to consider about nature and environment,
and to contribute to the society through botanical art

マダガスカルに新しい学校建設のためのお手伝いをします。
マダガスカルの子ども達から絵が届きました。
