,JUN,'98 We transferred at Amsterdam and arrived at Oslo evening.We happened to meet Heidi and Agnete at the airport because our plane was late. Linda came to pick us up. We are so glad to see her again. It is so nice of her to let us stay at her wonderful house. After our 5th meal today. We went out for drive to the beach with her dogs. Dogs were so excited. They were so big that I almost fell when they jumped up to me. |

,JUN,'98 I found it raining when I wake up. Linda took up a tour in the town. Very cold. Brown cheese is not my most favorite, but Rie seems to like it. First practice in Asker. Though I heard it will be a light training before game, It was hard for we. One trainig lasts very short and effective.I like that way. Thank you, Merete, for giving us a jacket. I can get thorough this coldness. |

,JUN,'98 Also raining today. Merete and Norway Mama took us to Holmenkollbakken Ski Jump. If it is fine, we could have overlook the Oslo city from there, frog gave us just a five meter visibility. Too bad. I felt a history in Skimuseum. They bought us a video which introduce Norwayin Japanese. Thank you very much. We took traditional lunch in Frognersetern. Some tasted strange, but it was good overall. It cleared up when we came home. Linda was all sweaty to reform the kitchen ceiling.I was wondering that she had a game that evening. Actually Asker played a cup tournament with a local team that evening. Supporters were cheering with cowbell. Even though the team won, the coach was mad because they did not get enough scores. We were shivering with coldness impressed with the aggressive game and devoted supporters. We ate pizza and watched a game Norway vs Morocco at Linda's friend's. Pizza was an unfamiliar taste for me. |

,JUN,'98 It was fine, but windy. We ate out in neighborhood. It was a cozy restaurant where we could see the ocean. Norwaigian cheese is so delicious. We saw a museum from outside in Bygday. We could see a ski slope from a boat. It was incredibly good feeling. We had lunch in the yard. We were happy because it was rather hot today. In the afternoon practice, we had a recreational tournament with 3-players' soccer tennis and small-sided game, and long kick and controlled kick. The winner could get a prize. I fell a lot with a little contact. We lost all the games in soccer tennis, so we are the third out of 4 teams.We are so sorry, Linda! |

,JUN,'98 We move to Tone's. Thanks a lot, Linda for everything. Airport was on strike, so everybody has to transport either by bus or train. We had no problem because we had a train reservation. We also had good seats in front of the luggage space. Eight hours are too long in spite of beautiful scenery. Rain made Trondheim even colder. We had to give up outside BBQ. We watched a World Cup match with friends of Tone's. |

,JUN,'98 Still raining. Anita and Tone drove us to a cabin close to Tone's parents'. It took us 3 hours. She parked the car at lakeside. We look around to find a house, but nothing was seen. Everybody put on raining boots. Unexpectedly, they started to climb a hill. Though the view is beautiful, I was a kind of anxious where the house was. After 20-30 minutes' walk, we finally found a house to stay. I was wondering how it was built. It was, however, the most beautiful and silent place I have found. We could not have spent such a great time in Japan. We enjoyed fishing and boat. It was only 6 degrees outside. We stayed inside playing a game with Wenche and Grethe and teaching the languages each other. We cooked a fish we caught. |

,JUN,'98 I found it fine when I woke up. It was as high as 10 degrees. We went out to fish, but nothing was caught. I was catching a big fish in my dream last night. We had a homemade dinner at Tone's parents'. We all cheered for Japanese team, but in vain. Randi dropped by that night. She made a song with Tone for us. |

,JUN,'98 We went to sightseeing before practice. We were disappointed not to rent a bicycle. We went to practice by bike. Shooting game is a main menu. It was tough but effective. We went out for dinner. Thanks for the dinner. We came back to Oslo by night train. |

,JUN,'98 Next morning Heidi came to pick us up at the station. We really appreciate that. We came back to their apartment and slept until noon. In the practice, we played 8 vs 8. In spie of the language problem, I played well, of course except my left foot. A person from a newspaper came to interview us. Heidi came to help us to translate. We watched Norway game at club house. We went to Agnette's parents' house that night. |

,JUN,'98 We had waffle at Heidi's parents'. It was so tasty. I really appreciate their hospitality they even gave us hand-knitted gloves. We went to see Norway game against Germany. It was an aggressive game. Norway won by 3-2. Randi called us and told us We are on TV. In the news we found it true. |

,JUN,'98 Finally we have to go back. I enjoyed and learned a lot from this trip. I really appreciate and impressed their heartful hospitality. We happened to get a business class to Amsterdam. We were so happy because it was the first time for both of us. We could managed to make a hotel reservation and went there by tram. We are a kind of scared on the way to the hotel, but it was OK because it was not very dark. |

,JUN,'98 We went sightseeing in the morning. We saw a lot, which was interesting. The airport was so crowded that I slept on the bench, while Rie was shopping around. |
||
|
,JUN,'98 Arrive at Narita early in the morning. Rie's father came to pick us up. Thank you. Once again I do not know how to express my appreciation to everybody who took care of us during this trip. |
