History of science, technology, and medicine
Research Interests
History of biological sciences, especially field sciences such as ecology, economic entomology, and agricultural sciences.
Main research areas are modern Japan and its former East Asian colonies.
Not only history of science, but also interested in environmental history and human-animal relationships.
Now trying to explore the border among industrial history, history of technology, and history of biology (bioeconomics).
