AGENDA  FOR  PRAYER

*We would appreciate your prayer for SU Japan.

*Please pray for Rev. Tadashi Oyamada, GS of Japan SU, as he is now in Singapore until Nov. 3 to talk with the SU people about the future plan for SU East Asia and on his role in the region. 

 

*  (Sun.) = @Please pray for the ministry of CSK.  Ms.Yasuko Omi is the director of CSK.  May the Lord bless all the seven committee members of CSK ministry. This month especially pray for Rev. Motoo Iwai who is the pastor of Kiyose Evangelical Free Church.

 

*  (Mon.) = There will be a re-gathering of CSK Camp tomorrow. Those who attended the CSK camps in the summer will come back to Tokyo Covenant Church at 10:00 a.m.  May the Lord bless the whole meeting and the message of Rev. Satoru Matsubara be used by the Lord.

 

* 1 (Tues.) = Please pray for the ministries of evangelism department:@‡@Encouraging the Christians to read through the whole Bible.  ‡AEvangelizing the young people, especially the junior and senior high students(13-18 years old). @‡BHelping the Christians to establish good Christian homes.

 

* 2 (Wed.) = Please pray for CSK  (the ministry for the junior and senior high school students).  .  CSK is doing: ‡@Encouraging the young Christians to read through the whole Bible. ‡ACamping ministries for the youth.  ‡BTraining the teachers of junior and senior high studentsf class of Local Churches.

 

* 3 (Thur.) = There will be the Planning Committee Meeting for CSK Out-field summer Camp tomorrow night. May many staffs and teachers of the junior-senior high studentsf class of the local churches attend it.

 

* 4 (Fri.) =  On the 8th, Tadashi will preach at the worship service of Tamagawa Church which belongs to the Church of God.  He will also preach at Kuki Grace Covenant Church in the evening.

EPlease pray for nine council members. This month, especially pray for Rev. Satoru Iijima who is an associate pastor of Haijima Baptist Church. The Lord blessed the council meeting on Oct. 27th. Praise the Lord!! 

 

* 5 (Sat.) = Please pray for the ministries of the publishing department, especially for the publishing of the Daily Bible notes for the adults (Tadashi Oyamada, General editor) and also for the youth(Hironori Kobayashi and Yasuko Omi, editors). EPlease pray for Mrs. Mayumi Yamamori who is the chief office worker, including the accountant, and also works for proof reading.

 

* 6 (Sun.) = For the ministry of CSK in Chiba prefecture.@We have four committee members who are the pastors of local churches. This month, please pray for Rev. Ikuhiko Otsuka who is the pastor of Yotsukaido Christ Church

 

* 7 (Mon.) = Please pray for Rev. Satoru Matsubara who is the pastor of Sasazuka Church and comes to our office once a month for the proof reading of Daily Notes. He was a cooperative director for CSK ministry until last September.

 

* 8 (Tues.) = Tadashi appreciates your prayer as he is the teacher of Covenant Seminary (teaching once a week from October till March= OT Introduction & Survey), and also the assistant pastor of Kuki Grace Covenant Church. Please pray for his family members, too. May the Lord bless all the contacts with the churches through him. May the Holy Spirit go ahead of him continually, and bless all his preaching ministries.

 

* 9 (Wed.) = Please pray for Rev. Hironori Kobayashi who is one of the editors for gThe Bible Reading Notes for the Youthh.  Especially pray for his health.  EPlease pray for Kaoko Yamazaki who works as a part time staff for the office work. May the Lord use her gifts fully.

 

* 10 (Thur.) = There will be the Planning Committee Meeting for CSK Camp tomorrow night. . May many staffs and teachers of the junior-senior high studentsf class of the local churches attend it.

 

* 11 (Fri.) = On the 15th, Tadashi will preach at the worship service of Tsukuba International Church in the morning.  EJapan SU might do something that many good Christian homes would be established. The morality of the young people has been depraved, and many of them are feeling emptiness.

 

* 12 (Sat.) = Please pray for Mrs. Naoko Fukuchi, a part time staff, that her gifts might be used by the Lord.  Especially pray for her health as she has been absent from the office for many days.

 

* 13 (Sun.) = Praise the Lord for the volunteers who come to our office once or twice a month to help mailing out the daily notes. May the Lord cause more volunteers who will help our ministry.   

EPlease pray for Mr. Tetsuya Nagata, who is the second year student of Covenant Seminary, who is helping our camps as a volunteer-staff. 

 

* 14 (Mon) = In Japan, only few Christians are reading through the whole Bible regularly.  May the Lord give the Christians the willing heart to read through the whole Bible. 

EMay many more Churches and Christians understand the ministry of SU, and will donate more for the ministry of evangelism department, especially for SU East & West Asia.

 

* 15 (Tues) = EPlease pray for Mrs. Yasuko Hasegawa who comes to our office once a week as a volunteer, helping many things. Especially pray for the health of her and her husband.

EPlease pray for Ms. Megumi Yoshida, who is the first year student of Covenant Seminary, who works once a week to help the office work of both departments

 

* 16 (Wed.) =. Ms. Kazue Tanaka, who is also a seminary student, started to work once a week in our office from June.@EMs. Kana Miyata, who is also a student of Covenant Seminary, and started to work once a week to help the office work of evangelism department from September.

 

* 17 (Thur.) = Please pray for the spiritual awakening of Japan that many more will be saved in this country.  Especially pray for the salvation of young people (young men, in particular). 

 

* 18 (Fri.) = On the 22nd, Tadashi will preach at the worship service of Tokyo International Church in the morning and in the afternoon. He will also preach in Japanese fellowship group right after lunch.

 

* 19 (Sat.) =@May the Lord bless the spiritual fellowship between Japan and the other Asian Countries.  May the Japanese Churches send more missionaries to the Asian countries. Please pray for the salvation of our new Prime Minister, Yukio Hatoyama, who gave thanks to a Japanese Shinto god after he was elected.

 

* 20 (Sun.) = In Japan SU, we have Audio-visual department. The ministry of Website is included in it.  There is a committee meeting for this ministry.  May the Lord bless the audio-visual ministry from now on.

 

* 21 (Mon) = Japan SU are planning to send ten young people to attend the SU summer camp in Malaysia in the summer of 2010.  May the Lord bless this plan, if it is His will.

 

* 22 (Tues) = Please pray that the families of SU staffs might be blessed by the Lord. Especially the Lord may protect the children from many temptations in the world.

 

* 23 (Wed.) =EThere will be the Planning Committee Meeting for CSK spring Camp on the 27th. May many staffs and teachers of the junior-senior high studentsf class of the local churches attend it.

 

* 24 (Thur.) = Election of the House of Representatives in Japan was held on Aug. 30.  The DP(Democratic Party) became a new leading party.  Mr. Yukio Hatoyama became a new prime minister.  May the Lord lead the new Japanese politicians. 

 

* 25 (Fri.) = On the 29th, Tadashi will preach at the worship service of Tsukuba Evangelical Christ Church in the morning.

 

* 26 (Sat.) = For Mr. Kazumasa Kazama, who is voluntarily (honorary) helping us as an inspector (a controller) of Japan SU.

 

* 27 (Sun.) = Please pray that the Church Schools (Sunday Schools) in Japanese Churches will be blessed more, and we might educate the children with the Word of God.

 

* 28 (Mon) = There are many Daily Notes published in Japan now. We are hoping that many more will read our notes which has history of 54 years and now are written by the Japanese Evangelical authors.

 

* 29 (Tues) = Please pray that the families of SU staffs might be blessed by the Lord. Especially the Lord may protect the children from many temptations in the world.

 

* 30 (Wed.) =EThere will be the Planning Committee Meeting for CSK spring Camp on the 27th. May many staffs and teachers of the junior-senior high studentsf class of the local churches attend it.

 

* 31 (Thur.) = Election of the House of Representatives in Japan was held on Aug. 30.  The DP(Democratic Party) became a new leading party.  Mr. Yukio Hatoyama became a new prime minister.  May the Lord lead the new Japanese politicians.
