Group Researching for Industrialization of Developing Countries and Intellectual Property.

Here I inform the discussion about the establishing of a new team to research intellectual properties of developing countries.

Before discussing the matter I put a nick name as the title is very long. My first paper was "Industrialization and Intellectual Property of South East Asia" The the temporary nick name is GRIIP (Group Researching for IIP).

Miss Kwintiana, Prof. Nagahama, Prof. Sakamoto and I discussed the matter 29th July 2003, Tuesday afternoon. Then the following conditions were agreed.

We wish to establish a pool for intellectual property data and contribute and use freely each other.
At the beginning, I open the data of Toyo Univ. to my team members. Also I wish to obtain any valuable data as exchanges, economic, industrial and social data of domestic region, translation of domestic papers into English, etc. by voluntary upload of the members.
For the data for China, Prof. Nagahama has set another subsidy and we are in the ordering process. The number of application inVChina is about 140 thousand and it is not availabe before a rough analysis. I will be engaged in the work for some months.
