I'm sorry that I wrote wrong name
"DANCE YAGIBUSI" last month. I correct the name
"DANBEE ODORI". Next week, Nov.7and8,
"DANBEE ODORI"will play in BEIJING! This
morning the Newspaper said so. Mr.JOHN teach us today. He has been stay JAPAN three month. He can speak JAPANESE a little. "What did you do on ( over, during) the weekend?""I went to shopping. On saturday, I did some window shopping. On sunday, I bought a sweater." We wanted to explain what did I do on the weekend, but We had little or no vocablary. But, we could explain never give up. On Iistening dictation, we wrote the answer on the blackboard. When IKUMI and EMIKO wrote the answer on the blackboard, Mr.JOHN said that choose the color, pink or green. IT'S UP TO YOU!" I was so surprised and I became very glad. Someday I want to say to him that my homepage title is "IT'S UP TO YOU!". Today's lesson was "TO BE". We studyed "BE" changes "AM" or "ARE"by singlar or plurales, and it's very important. |

Mr.JOHN said
"Today I use CRUTCH. It was difficult to walk with
stick." How could he know what I wrote that I don't
know the word MATSUBAZUE last week? "What did you do on ( over, during) the weekend?""I went to a flea market and opend a table where I sold accesories." I get a new sentence "open a table". Today's lesson was pair practice. Lastiy, Mr. JOHN said that EYE-CONTACT is very importamt. He taught us how do we do EYE-CONTACT with gesture. On the way to return my home, I bought Big Comic Spirits, Young You and Fauchon's Marron at the convenience-store. When I took changes, I tryed EYE-CONTACT. The salesman was surprised, but he said "Thank you!" with smail. I was so happy. |

"What did you do
on the weekend?""I sent some E-mails."
It's not true. Sorry, I don't explain about my car's
accident. I asked "Mr.JOHN, what did you do on the weekend?"He answered "On saturday, I went to Yoshii Maturi. On sunday, I relaxed." When I did nothing on the weekend, I could answer that I relaxed. Yoshii is town's name in Gunma Provice. Today's lesson was greetings. I learned "What's going on?""Nothing much/new." I was thought that "What's new?"="new topics""What's new?"is "What's going on yesterday/weekend?" "What's old?"is "What's going on last month?" I got it wrong. When I was junior high school students, I didn't realize meaning of the "She lived in Japan last year." By the way, do you know Back Steet Boys? JOHN(He said call me not Mr.JOHN but JOHN) explained they are major group in USA, like Kinki Kids in Japan, not two person but four men. I don't know them. I will look for their CD in the CD's shop. |

"What did you do
on the weekend?""On the weekend, I watched
Musashi Maru compete in a Sumo tournament on TV."
JOHN didn't know Musashi Maru. It was hard to explain
about Sumo. When KIYOJI said "Akebono", JOHN
realized it. JOHN said "Kiyoshi? Keyoshi?" He meant thier Adjectives. Japanese says "keiyoushi" for Adjectives. Today's lesson was Social Talk - Bye! Goodbye/Bye/See you later/Take care/Have a good day. In the nighttime we must not use "Have a good day." We must say "Have a good night." On Friday we can say "Have a good weekend." I lent two comics to IKUMI. They are "Osyaberi New York" written by MON. See you next month! |
